Pretty much agree Thebhoys,
He's laid the foundations and now hopefully it is some new activity as a result of this new partnership that will move the company up to the next level. That's what I'm hoping for anyway. Will be interesting to see what comes out of the AGM this Wednesday and if there is something new they can share with us.

I thought the emphasis was on gas rather than oil but as to where and how it will work who knows. Will have to wait and see what unfolds. I've got the feeling PL is teasing us a bit but suppose he can only give real news when it actually happens otherwise it's just speculation on our part.
I'm just hoping something more interesting will get underway from now onwards now Trafigura are on board.

place emphasis on not oil and not necessarily Argentina? I know that particularly doesn't narrow things down too much but that was the one thing I got out of the interview re Presidents relationship with Trafigura. Having said that PL added the cautionary note of their being challenges ahead in the coming year.
Fingers crossed for some further clarification at next week's AGM and any follow up call the company might have.

Shore Capital shows a Ratings of House Stock - but no actual rating of a value - does anyone know what this means and have they set a price target yet for President Energy?

I feel very much the same. This behaviour from a government who say they want to encourage international investment - what an absolute farce!! and I thought they needed the gas for business and their people too. Something doesn't smell right to me about this and hopefully the management can do something to dig the company out of the hole they are currently in - and still Malcy keeps quiet.

If it hasn't now happened by the end of this weeks it looks highly unlikely that the Farm Out is going to be confirmed next week. Very sad state of affairs after all this time and not sure where it leaves Aminex going forward.
Purely imho but to me it's not looking good.

I'm wondering if we would hear something before the 22nd but am suspecting that they will be keeping news quiet until then but I sincerely hope what we have been communicated about re Trafigura means that more flesh will be put on the bones re this relationship and specifically how and when this inorganic growth by acquisition is going to happen. Not too long to wait now .....

positive in things but this appears to be the usual way that Aminex seems to operate - I'm sure most LTHs will agree. We get lots of positive spin and told we are nearly there and then there is the drift and no news - not for a couple of months now - since we were told they had done everything they needed to do. We are now left waiting for the next three business days! to see if we get an answer re the farmout - again I must say that this seems such weird behaviour it almost makes you think something has happened behind the scenes - but if we haven't heard in the next 3 days does that mean the Zubairs will walk away? Wentworth seem ti be part of the Tanzania success story and things seem to be going well for them - why has it gone so badly fir Aminex? It just doesn't seem right somehow - and still no news.....

Not sure if this is usual for this share or is it that news is expected that hasn't yet arrived? In general though it sounds like the production is increasing so presumably with that the profit and sp should increase.

Yes any comparison for something taking a long time pales into insignificance compared to waiting for this Farmout to get signed off lol Here's hoping we can all be smiling by at the latest the end of next week.

relief as it means we don't have to stew over the weekend with the countdown continuing. Based on Aminex's past radio silence it doesn't help as it makes me wonder what is going on behind the scenes and continuous silence doesn't help me - others might be fine with this but to me silence with Aminex has usually been related to delays and that is one thing we don't want at the moment!

Just received Malcy's blog email for today and he fails to make any comment about Aminex. Seems odd as I am sure this was on his bucket list. Maybe we will get a comment tomorrow but surprised he hasn't said something about it.
