Trafigura might be prepared to put forward capital to assist with President's drilling in Paraguay, for some sort of Farm out percentage. If successful they have a lot of oil and presumably good markets in which to sell it for a long time to come? As always time will tell but they are a substantial shareholder in President now. Lets hope PL can formulate dome great deals with them. It's exciting times but just a bit quiet and slow at the moment - I'm assuming things could change quite quickly. As always all imho nd please dyor.

in the title of the company in his recent Q and A. I wonder if this will require a change in the company's memorandum and articles of association to give an indication of where the company i heading. Would be good to get some more good news before not too long to keep getting their message out there and to keep letting people know the success story.

Yes this was one of the reasons I bought into the company. The other being it was said that there was a rapidly increasing demand and the country HAD TO meet that with increased supply. At the time I took this on face value and therefore it made sense to me that the government would do everything in it's powers to assist companies like Aminex to meet that supply. Also it was said the Zubairs had an excellent relationship with experience in working in Tanzania. Given that Aminex have done all they can to get this Farm Out across the line this is what is making me think there is some issue behind the scenes that has and still is causing a problem. Why else wouldn't the government have signed this off shortly after May19th when all was said to be done. Nearly 3 months waiting now and further in action. Very sad state of affairs - I've been in the company for years now and still nothing to show for it. As I've said in the pass - huge potential and great assets but wer're stuck in limbo!

of this company in Tanzania that we might get a farm out deal before the end of this week. After all it's been nearly 3 months since the company did everything they needed to do to get the darned thing signed off! Makes you think that behind the scenes there is some other issue. I've said it a few times before on shorter timescales - surely there must be something not right here for this to take so long - it's as far from normal as you can get!

The rapid approval by the Tanzanian regulators to the farm-out of the SOGTP licences illustrates their desire to encourage activity in this important economic sector.
Would be the same for Aminex foolsandcows. Maybe August will be our month?

and more good news from President and at some point I think it's going to rerate then push on from there. Not sure what's in the future except they have a strategy and are to coin a phrase from today's RNS are looking at adding more strings to their bow. All imho and dyor.

Very much agree with what you say. Getting production up and growing will help. Diversifying both in terms of the type of energy type and geographical location will help. The bit I continue to struggle with in terms of a large and quick expansion is presumably this is going to require quite a lot of funding. Where is that funding going to come from. I don't think current production levels is enough to do it - so where is the funding going to come from????
No one has been able to answer that one for me and the subject as far as I'm aware hasn't been covered either by Rob Shepherd or Peter Levine - so not sure where the funding is to materialize from.

or so about the resignations. It's the second time in a couple of years when approaching the AGM we've had these dramatic resignations. Last year it was Jay on health grounds and now this. I must admit in terms of the AGM they would have, I would have thought been in for a rough ride re any progress. My real feeling though is that there must have been a major disagreement in terms of what is going to happen going forward and with the Zubairs being a major shareholder they probably thought what's the point of the direction forward being dictated to them - the might as well via Mr Ambrose have the company going forward controlled by him. If they have been given the nod re the Farmout is due very soon then why are Mr Bell and Mrs Beal needed?
My only really big concern is that shareholders don't get sold down the river in terms of what happens going forward.

me in this share think the current drop is due to the pandemic situation and that volumes(i.e.production) will pick up before not too long or are there other issues re the current mining results ?

ignored as I think this has been mentioned in the past. However, nothing was mentioned in the presentation and Q and A apart from the summarising at the end by PL - maybe that was just to focus in terms of where they are currently at but would be good to know if they got anywhere with the people who were looking at Paraguay and what the timescales are. The one interesting thing I took out of the Q and A was PL placing emphasis on President Energy as an Energy company the inference being not just oil and gas - very interesting.

what the intentions of the BOD are now that John Bell and Linda Beal have stepped down! Just hoping that the Zubairs are not going to get their hands on all those assets and then offer shareholders a very low offer to buy them out!!

Odd that the price has suddenly moved up as we've just had the AGM and I'm not aware any news is imminent. I suppose we will soon see. I'd very much welcome getting up over 2p then moving on from there :-)
