before but I was thinking about how much a trillion cubic feet of gas was worth. I came across an estimate of $3billion based on - In the U.S., the value at the wellhead is about $3.00 per million BTU, which for 1,000 BTU gas is the same as $3.00 per thousand cubic feet. The price if comes to be sold in Australia might be different to $3 American dollars.
There obviously would be probably large infrastructure costs.
However, just something to think about. Also, given the 22.75% Falcon own their share would be $682.5m in US dollars.
Just a thought in terms of how much this resource could be worth in terms of how big the actually resource being looked at in Australia is 61Trillion Cubic feet???

I really do hope that 2021 will be a big year for PE with lots of positives and hopefully lots of news from the various potential revenue streams. I don't see why the company couldn't be at 3p by year end if not more then build on that.
I could be wrong as I don't know what PL did at Imperial Energy but it seems like he has a very good business sense in terms of getting an operation running right but also has a great ability to spot an opportunity. I am hoping that both of these characteristics will benefit shareholders well.

I can put myself in the optimist camp again. It's honestly where I prefer to be. Hopefully, I can stay in this group all through September and this time it's sorted. I usually get twitchy in that last week as the deadline date approaches.
I really do hope we can take Robert Ambrose at his word and that they are working closely with the Tanzanian government on this and it does get sorted this month. What a strange way the Tanzanian government do business eh - and it's them that are supposedly pushing for the gas.

is that it was stated and I suppose obvious really that there will be higher news flow over the rest of the year. This will only help to build momentum imho step by step as PL would say but with some news that will hopefully give us some very nice surprises.

the Tanzanian government aren't going to sign off by 31st August will that mean another extension is announced either tomorrow or Friday? Aren't we also as shareholders entitled to a real explanation as to the cause of the delay. Surely they cannot argue they are still checking through things before signing. It just doesn't wash anymore.

Just wondering who thinks we will get news in the coming week? Extension ends I believe on August 31st and the Tanzanian government have had no reason not to sign it off since 19th May 2020. Aminex has even paid the CGT requested. So, if no sign off by end of next week I'm thinking there's something odd going on. Myself sadly am going to give my vote to the pessimistic side based on past experience - woul love to be proved wrong but doubt it.

interest was starting to return to this share in terms of more buying and also quite a number of tweets re activity in Argentina. Am still waiting for some of the new strategy with Trafigura to be rolled out whatever that might entail. If they(Trafigura) have taken interest presumably they are looking for decent gains over the short to medium term for their investment which aligns well with shareholder aims too. As always dyor and all imho.

everything they needed to, to get thus thing sorted included over a £2million($2million?) loan. Something really isn't right here - no doubt we will find out in time but there can be no excuses from the Tanzanian government and other companies must be steering clear of this country completely if this is how they treat them. They really have shot themselves in the foot - and unfortunately looks like we as shareholders in Aminex are paying the price.
My gut feeling is that 31st August is going to come and go and NOTHING will have happened by then.
Then what another extension without explanation!!! Or, will the Zubairs just walk away?

I appreciate PL said that there would be an emphasis on the company as an Energy company.
Did he actually say though that the company
"made it clear that the company was close to buying a renewable energy provider."

Did that appear on the FAQ page or in one of the presentations? I must have missed that.

I really do hope so Claudereff. Others though have argued it's not possible for President at the moment and I have struggled to see where the money will come from for a sizeable acquisition. President and other companies can sometimes pick up bargain acquisitions which could be transformational for the company if the deal is right - with the other company selling off assets that don't fit their portfolios. However again the question that no one seems to be able to answer when I've put it on here is where will the money come from? One of their main recent aims has been to reduce debt - so am not sure how that fits in with an acquisition policy.
There are though now what seem to be a number of avenues that could help increase the companies worth.
1. Drilling in Paraguay.
2. New relationship with Trafigura and whatever benefits might come from that.
3. An intention(somehow) to diversify Presidents portfolio into other countries than Argentina.
4. The emphasis on the company as an Energy company - as has recently been emphasised by Peter Levine - not just oild and gas - whatever this might entail.

Any one of the above could change the direction of the company and it's worth. A combination of a few of them could really get things moving. Will have to wait and see if they actually do deliver what they promised as the title in their last presentation - "Growth in the pipeline" fingers crossed this is not just a statement of intent but becomes a reality.
