Something doesn't smell right does it. How can a company work very closely with a country for absolutely no result - there's something amiss here - I very much feel the Tanzanian government are just going to let this drag on and on and as far as I'm aware there is nothing that Aminex can do about it - they've already done as much as they can.

The one word that made me smile in reading this was the word soon in the first sentence. I expected the Farmout to be signed off soon after May 19th when Aminex said they had done everything they needed to, in order to get this signed off. If you in some context had been dealing with a third party for well over a year and were working closely with that third party how long do you think it would take for an agreement to get signed off - a few weeks, a month?
I'm sorry to say it's not looking that this Farmout is going to get signed off by the end of this month either is it. Don't ask me why - I cannot answer that one but for some reason the Tanzanian government/TPDC just don't seem to want to do it - regardless of what Aminex keep telling us. Sorry to say I'm back in the pessimist camp.

I'm just genuinely enthused by how the current 3month share graph is looking and the prospects of the company with how they are putting things in place for future growth.

ahead either by RNSs or with more info that PE post on their Twitter board. PE at the moment seem to be one of those bright lights(opportunities) out there that are steadily building momentum and I think have the ability to have a step change in the sp given some of the decisions that they might make in the not too distant future.

lets have an end to the farce and lets get back to being a proper oil and gas company that believe it or not drills for oil and gas and doesn't sit around with their hands tied based on a government that doesn't seem interested at the moment. I also hope it has the genuine support of a country that says it wants companies to come to their country and work in cooperation to achieve something for the benefit of both parties - that was after all the main reason I bought in to this company all those years ago.

think that everyday that we do get news from President it will now more likely be good than bad. Further lots of the news to come re drilling whether for gas and oil - hopefully will keep adding to the news we've received.

Could come in at any time - here's hoping for some of this additional news we receive in September or October - from the hype before the AGM in my head anyway I didn't think it would be too long before we heard something about one of these - then there is the preparation for 2021 and hopefully more news in November and December.

broker - have they given a price target yet of what they expect PE to be in the not too distant future. The other thing that won't go away in my thoughts is at some stage won't they have to with so many shares in issue need to consider a consolidation - I know it' been mentioned before and PE have said the broker advice is no - but surely it's going to be hard to get the sp up substantially from here without reducing the shares currently issued or have I misunderstood something?

well they did say that there would be lots of news flow towards the end of the year. Above expectations re gas flow and below expectations re cost. Great news and more to come.

company were actually producing at Kiliwani North and getting paid for the gas. The drilling of Ntoya-1 and Ntorya-2 wells - cannot remember why we didn't start to commercialise these wells. Then there was $7.4m dollars owed at the time of the 2019 AGM Presentation. We were told the results of Ntorya-1 and Ntorya-2 indicated signs of a world class basin. We were also thanked for our patience as shareholders at that time and what seems a bit of a hollow statement now abou 15months later was that then in June 2019 we were told of the continued close cooperation with the Tanzanian authorities. All went a bit pear shape since then.....

Wouldn't bite your head off Napthman1 I like to remain optimistic too. At the moment I think we have a lot to be positive about. Lots of people find it hard to justify the low sp of PE at the moment and that doesn't even include :-
1. New relationship with Trafigura.
2. Possible partner for Paraguay drilling.
3. New renewables department PE has set up - Argentina have big growth plans for this sector.
4. Possible further acquisitions when the price and fit is right.
So, in short there's a lot going on why wouldn't you be optimistic!

much one Trillion cubic feet of gas would be worth. If you were take say a notional $3 per 1000 cubit feet then I believe I Trillion cubic feet is worth $3billion. Just stating this in terms of what sorts of values are at stake here. I know there will be a lot of infrastructure spend and also future price discounting and Aminex only get a certain % and I am not sure what the price currently is for 1000cu ft but just wanted to state what's to play for here. As always please DYOR and all imho but just shows what an opportunity this could be if they can get the show on the road.

I was going to say that this sounds encouraging but then had to remember that this is a politician trying to get re-elected and promising things - so pinch of salt unfortunately springs to mind. All these years and in Aminex I think has dented by optimism somewhat.
