Interesting comment in the article about Trafigura coinvesting in new fields - maybe, amongst other things President Energy are thinking of expanding their acreage in Argentina.
Very interesting times for President Energy at the moment.

Re Paraguay they talk of detailed discussions with a third party National Oil Company - so maybe that is moving well considering a farm out but not too sure what to read into the fact it's got to the detailed discussions stage. Hopefully will be good news. Presentation also covers lots of the recent good news to date and looks good to me.

unduly negative about the company. I admit I am impatient especially being a long term holder of the share and having waited for so long. However, surely it's not just the existing shareholders that Aminex should be getting there story out to and a number of years ago communications from the company was raised as an issue by a number of shareholders with the company and they said things would improve.
Other companies are as proud as can be of their achievements and love to share progress with both existing shareholders and to show that progress is being made. We heard in one of the recent few interviews with Richard Ambrose that lots has been going on - but apart from these words we are not shown what is going on - just told something will be happening shortly - there's never any time frames. So, that's all that I'm asking for - more shared information - the company has admitted this was an issue in the past and some sort of schedule of eg planned drilling. Maybe all this will come shortly but I've yet to be convinced.

quite excited now about this company's prospects. I can honestly see now why buyers might be starting to increase so much.
If it was possible for you to maybe(and as always all imho and dyor) double your money in say three months - with some possibly fantastic news in the short and more to come longer term then wouldn't you want to invest.
The only surprise I have at the moment is that it has not moved up more quickly - but that will probably happen when fingers crossed some great news arrives toward the end of November.

meetings where Aminex and APT jointly update shareholders on progress would be a good idea? It would stop such long periods of quiet and keep shareholders informed and hopefully therefore stop the downward drift in the sp which has for a long time been an issue with Aminex.

with this company but when they say shortly and then there is no news and knowing the history of this company it really doesn't help shareholders who were hoping for a change of approach to now have no news - the sp graph has now taken a dip let's hope it doesn't start trending down again.

twitter feed today President Energy mentioned Perforating EVN-x1 yesterday morning. Does this mean they have got through to the oil resevoir. I know it doesn't give any details but isn't this the first step to confirming oil and now it's a matter of testing to quantify the results or have I misunderstood?

Peter Levine on the Directors talk website - cannot really call it an interview but good promotion of the company. The one thing I did pick up was when PL talked about the latest drill he said it is looking very encouraging - at the moment - which to me suggests the drill is going well and there have been some encouraging signs. Just one other thing I picked up he now talked of the discussion with the National oil company re Paraguay as being at an advanced stage too, so maybe news to come on that front in the not too distant future too. Fingers crossed.

That would make good sense to me, as they can see the potential and have a seat on the board - so would be part of and hopefully assist with the growth story. The thing I am not sure about though is whwe haven't been informed as to who the buyer is?

and hopefully some great news re drilling by the end of the month I also we hope before the end of this year that engagement with the national oil company re drilling in Paraguay will bear fruit too. To me it sounds like a lot of things are falling into place for President but as a result of a lot of and continuing hard work.

sale of all those shares. They had to be notified via an RNS - so at some stage(surprised it all ready hasn't to be honest) shouldn't the buyer also be identified in an RNS? What I am assuming and hoping is that whoever has bought them is going to be a long term holder so will not be selling them until the sp is a good bit higher than it is now. So, some good news already in November and more hopefully to come with the results of the drilling around the end of November.
