Just a further thought sometimes companies in the list can be dropped. Aminex has now been dropped from the list - will not be drilling until 2022!, so in one sense that's fair enough but others whilst it has been in the list might have invested in it and it has done quite badly over a number of years. So, the share can be dropped at no loss to Malcy but others who followed the share might have lost a lot. So, as always please be wary - don't invest more than you can afford to lose and dyor.
President Energy is now back in the list I believe it was dropped from the list last year - even though Malcy has applauded the work done by Peter Levine. Let's hope in this case the inclusion in the list turns out to be one of those at the top of the gainers list by the end of 2021.

Must admit and I hope I am not being unfair here Malcy appears to be impressed by individuals linked to various companies and takes great enjoyment in his interviews but I am not sure of his background in terms of analysis. He is one of the people though that others go to for his thoughts and opinions so he must have quite a knowledge and experience but as has been said quite a number of his share recommendations have done quite badly. I think sometimes with the O and G industry there is some luck involved but good management and decent assets are probably the things to look for and not just a company that appears on this list. If the two coincide then he will do well but there could easily be others not on the list that fall into this category. Imho President whether on or off the list has decent management and excellent assets.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for too colinski. My thoughts very much along the same lines.
I thought when we had a different operator was in charge things would move more quickly. Let's hope once they get started they have some big successes and the results then benefit Aminex - we've all been waiting far too long!

I must admit I expected more of Aminex - even Robert Ambrose said he would feel disappointed if the drill didn't happen in the first quarter - he might of even said January 2021. The problem will be without news there will be uncertainty - and I don't see any sign of news - has Robert Ambrose even given an interview since the announcement? How will that news be provided to us - radio silence seems to be the norm.
I'm thinking what will happen with Aminex is(very sadly) what has happened for a number of years now. There will be a drift down in the sp over time. It might reach a low and stay there for a good while - what's going to move it? other than positive news and income to build the market cap. So, you could wait and buy more shares at the lower price but I think that decision will depend on whether you think Aminex are going to come good and how long that will start to take - end of 2022.
As always it's your money and you can do what you think best. Like you I've been in ages - at one time it looked like they were going to push forward but sadly that opportunity appears to have bene missed and it's now a case of wait and see.
Personally I'm going to keep an eye on the sp and news if any and see how I feel in 3, 6 and 9 months time about the situation. Pointless checking on a day to day basis as you know like me - things just don't happen with Aminex that way.

production performance and low share price whether or not this makes it on to any one of the tips list for shares that might perform well next year. I really think(and I don't think I'm alone) that quite a few people think this might end up at multiples of it's current sp at the moment. Will have to wait and see but I think other people will be able to see the value in President going forward.

on what Peter Levine has been saying is that there is now an emphasis on having a very strong portfolio and trying to capitalise on the assets they have. The other day talking about Paraguay he was very keen to stress that the company is not purely an exploration company but has very strong assets to develop. All this is true and the current portfolio points to a very interesting and exciting future in 2021 and beyond. As always please dyor and all imho. I useful place to start might be in recent interviews given by Peter Levine which give a very good flavour of recent successes and strategy going forward.

hoping the sp would be at 2p by Christmas. It might still get there but the most encouraging thing is that President Energy are looking at expansion next year with more production and greater growth in revenue. That hopefully will attract more interest and they have so many things to keep them busy and potentially to add to the company :-
Growth in Argentina.
Possible Farm out re Paraguay.
Support in whatever form that comes from Trafigura.
An interest and some effort by the sound of it put into an alternative renewables arm within the company.
Acquisition(s).
Workovers.
Increase in reserves.
Identification of lower - more quickly(less costly) drillable gas wells.
Whatever else comes to be added to the mix.

So, if some of that doesn't excite you then I don't know what will. Really looking forward to 2021 and the growth of this company.

interview whilst talking about Paraguay - he was going to say it's going well and changed to it's proceeding and also said as and when the Farm Out is agreed and changed this to if the Farm Out is achieved. Sounds like things are going well.

Looks like all the uncertainty is doing the company no good - maybe people are selling their stake thinking the sp is only going to keep trending down- that's what has happened in the past. No news on the horizon? When do Aminex make their next announcement re progress(or lack of) and what they are trying to do to get some money together to tide the company over to the 1st Quarter of 2022? At least that would steady the nerves!

President Energy on their Argentina assets. However, I really do like the idea of President having a number of avenues available by which they can increase production including by acquisition. It might just be my own preference but to me - especially in a different location will achieve too things firstly spread the risk and secondly add to the bottom line. All imho and please DYOR.
I'm getting more and more enthusiastic about Presidents strategy and their short to medium term future which to me is looking very bright.

let down by bad management both in the past and currently. Do people think this is the case or is it events that have happened that have resulted in Aminex being in this current predicament? I suppose nothing can be done now but the current management like previous management aren't filling me with a great sense of enthusiasm and optimism.
When is the next scheduled event that the current management will provide us with an update - would be good to have any positive news at the moment from the company and what is happening re those millions that I believe the Tanzanian government owe Aminex?
