end of the day in the sp. Cannot quite work that one out. I'm still expecting good things in the update on Monday - and I think PL once talked about results being little like the fish and chip newspaper that gets thrown away and you then turn your thoughts to the future which as far as I can see is looking very bright indeed.

I don't think they would have wanted to come on board of not to quickly put their skills to use and acquire some assets. Great news imho. At last we might soon see some action.

have started moving up over the last few days - it has been mentioned on a twitter account that changes are afoot - but no mention as to what and the wait for an acquisition goes on.

The sp finished at about 2.61p - about 4% higher. At one point it was about 14% up. Then I had to smile - not bad when you can be disappointed on a 4% gain and that was just a bit of a blip at the end of the day. I'm sure there's lot more to come.

Hope all is well with you. Yes this week was a good one. I think if Zephyr prove up what they are saying about this drill and the core samples prove up lots more prospects then an awful lot more people will start to buy in than we have seen already and the share price will really take off. As always though please dyor and all imho.

was the focus on the next stages including the lateral drill and the expectation of what they can achieve from it. So, what I think will be a fantastic test will be whether they can deliver what they are hoping to on this drill and also the results of the core analysis.

Looks like people are literally buying into President Energy's plans going forwards and hopefully lots of good news soon followed by a very busy time in the months ahead. Fingers crossed for more good news to keep the so trending upwards.

Yes I did think that too. What I struggle with though is if they avoid the loan then it could be a loss in one period of time whilst production revenue catches up - fair enough. However, going for a joint venture surely in some sense will reduce their own interest - that's what I'm not understanding. There must be a better way for them to do this on their iwn?

struggle with funding and have to look to other companies for a joint venture. Can they not take a loan and if the assets are so good pay off the loan and build the company from continued and increasing production?

either improved prospects for the current drill or an extended drill length and higher than expected results which could well improve sentiment.

I seem to remember when drilling was going to start after the moratorium it was suggested about 2 years would provide enough time for Falcon to establish the value and then sell their share. My own feeling that 2 years is probably more likely to be 3-4 years but I suppose it all depends on future drilling and success in proving a valuation. All imho and please dyor.

their plans are announced tomorrow that will give the sp a boost. News of any timings might be carefully considered by them as they have probably learned from their recent RNS to not over promise and under deliver. Will be interesting to see the presentation.

Just wondering if the 4.2 includes anything for Paraguay? That is assuming the Farm Out is signed off but not sure if a drill will take place before year end.

I cannot think of the exact timings Blackhole2 but I think the issue was dilution. In 2019 there weren't as many President Energy shares in issue as there are today and it's taken quite a long time for the sp to move up from lows because of it. Plus there was I believe a seller in the market drip feeding shares that has kept the price artificially low. Looks like the share is starting to gather some momentum again and lots planned for this year - plus the oil price as you mentioned has recovered. Others on this board can probably supply more details.

performance today. Maybe sentiment is changing a bit towards the sector and people are starting to take notice of the plans the company has and is setting out to execute thus year. Here's hoping it isn't a blip and there is more to follow.

Yes good point - I hadn't mentioned that because I had focused on what I thought might be a gap in time between RNSs but yes this is the ongoing and important news that will be adding to Presidents bottom line day by day and once the news flow starts again more will start to be added to the story. In the meantime will be interesting to hopefully see the sp drift up under its own steam.
