ah well not much we can do. However it is just so, so frustrating - just feels like we will have the whole of 2021 to go before we have any prospect with the drilling of seeing an increase in the sp and that is what we've all been hoping for. Arrrrgggghhhhh. It is not too bad when you can actually see some progress in a situation but with this company they seem to drain the life out of everything they do!
Ah well - rant over - feel better for that.

The management seem to promise that at some stage they will make a move but been waiting an awful long time now and continue to wait.

keep adding to the bottom line and this news by the sound of it will potentially impact on reserves all imho and dyor. Lots of strings to the bow now and news flow very good. Here's hoping the Paraguay discussions are pproceeding well and we will have news on a potential Farm Out deal before not too long.

when Robert Ambrose was asked when the Chikumbi-1 well was expected to be spud he said I don't want to over promise and under deliver but I would be very disappointed if the well hadn't spudded by the first quarter of 2021. Well I'm afraid you have over promised and under delivered and your shareholders like yourself are very disappointed.
I suppose though we are going to have to get used to being drip fed information as there isn't much they can change whilst not being operator. I must admit I still live in hope that this well will be spudded a good while before 2022. How long have they been planning this again?

Has Robert Ambrose given an interview today? Proactive Investor usually is the platofrm people speak on but I've not seen any reference to an interview he has given today.

i cannot understand why he still has them in his bucket list. They've been there a long time now and he still seems to persist with them - I suppose it's the size of the resource that is attractive - like it is to all of us. My one thought is that hopefully although it depressed us all today although January 2022 has been pencilled in maybe the new operator if they do move quickly can get things moving and drill before 2022! and for once Aminex will have under promised and over delivered - as I typed that though I just thought - but what a way to achieve it!!

They have consistently over promised and under delivered as a company and now looking at today's share price looking like we are heading back to square one where the sp will need to build again. The market I think has voted that the RNS this morning was the last straw for many and I think it's going to be a few days of sells before some buying picks up again. The thing I think is really sad is that RA semed to think from his comments that this was a good news RNS!

I suppose I can forget about these and come back at the end of 2022 to see if any progress has been made. I might have misunderstood something but I really thought all the long lead items had been sorted and I'll have to go back to Robert Ambrose's I think one and only interview to see if he makes reference to that. Also, it seems odd they are doing all that seismic and the drilling of the well has been put back a year. I thought one wouldn't have affected the other - the drill site had already been determined hadn't it. I hope some of the posters are still here who have been here for a long time in 2022 - as we deserve significant upside from there the sp currently is.

wondering about is with the current drilling and fracking how normal is it to have some drilling and fracking that fails? If the people who do the drilling get the seismic right should it be 100% success or is the chance of success much less than this. I'm just trying to get my head around what is normal given the current circumstances.

to my log on page that talked about 7 reasons why oil and gas share prices might be 60% higher in 2021 and I'm sort of thinking erm 260% or 360% might be better in President's case.

Yes, It does frustrate me too! Has the OCM taken place yet? In the RNS re the Farmout announcement almost a month ago it was mentioned at the OCM there would be a Presentation with the schedule of drilling and seismic - as we haven't heard anything from Aminex I assume this meeting hasn't yet happened otherwise this would have been shared with us.
Talking of lack of commuication just had a look at Aminex's website and no Presentation since the middle of 2019!!
This is the sort of stuff that gets me frustrated - the silence suggests nothing is happening and if it is happening as suggested in the last interview Robert Ambrose gave then why on earth aren't they spreading the word - this silence isn't the way lots of firms operate so is surely a choice being made by Aminex and imho not a very good one - a quarterly update call would at least give us some details - all the silence makes me think things aren't progressing as we expected them to.

exploration success. To me the next huge bit in the strategy will be a farm out for drilling in Paraguay. This is news I don't think the market and lots of other investors will be able to ignore. From what has been said probably news after Christmas re the Farm out but if the fat lady feels like singing before that would be great. Plus lots of news like new production, emphasis by the govt on gas provision being encouraged, drilling prospects being planned and acquisitions keep being mentioned. Lots of companies have no where near these levels of opportunities and I've probably missed a few, so am very happy to be in this company.

President. Just thinking that one scenario might be if President get a farm out for Paraguay could this then result in a very large demand that will buy up shares for sale and then there will be a responsive market for the true demand for President's shares?
Just a thought but maybe Paraguay will spark a lot more investors interests.

Malcy thinks it should be capitalised at £100m - three times higher than now!!
It shot up this morning - then it's as if someone or company are selling to keep the price from moving up - what was the phrase in Hamlet - something is rotten in the state of Denmark!
I really don't know what more they can do - let's hope of more gains in the days to come - really confused on this one - I thought such great news would kick start the sp.

sounds like a very successful well and they are still talking P50 results but will monitor into the new year.
That might be it for news from President for a while as they are now talking of plans going forward into the new year but but will have to wait on that one - currently they seem to have been pushing ahead on a number of fronts so maybe more news to come.
