C7 - the persistent seller may have wanted the market to regain some optimism; now those who bought at a higher price yesterday may be enticed into averaging down and the seller will be able to sell more shares without crashing the price.

Maybe the price went too high because of the irrational exuberance of investors chasing a rising share? It would not be the first or last time that the market corrects itself after investors overvalue a share.

It appears that HeidHoncho was onto something - Prof Bown has published a number of Cancer related papers. He lectures at Abertay University (Dundee, Scotland).

Please explain what Valirx are 'fully funded' for?

Some might say yes, some might say no. All should say DYOR and do not be swayed by what you read on a bulletin board.

The study is titled 'Dose Finding Safety Study of VAL201 in Cancer Patients (VAL201-001)' - all it aims to establish is the safe dosage; it is not a complete trial of the compound.

The fundraising RNS states that the funds 'will enable the Company to fund the close-out period of its clinical trial of VAL201'. The phrase close-out period means the period from the last dosage to reconciling the results.

I am not sure what results people are waiting for - it will just be if the dosages that they have used so far are safe and tolerable.

Last years First Quarter release was 8 pages of details; this year's under 1 page. Why the difference - what do they want Investors not to read? The Market prefers clarity and this is not an environment to appear to be withholding data from analysts.

That is just the official deaths - the powers that be would prefer if the excess death figures are ignored.

My understanding is that the warrants are also 'consolidated' because of Section 618 (2) of the Companies Act which states:

'In any sub-division, consolidation or division of shares under this section, the proportion between the amount paid and the amount (if any) unpaid on each resulting share must be the same as it was in the case of the share from which that share is derived.'
