You might be able to imagine how 'nice' I was to the seagulls who tried to steal my bait, especially if they tried to steal from the live bait well. Small live mullets are a great bait; good for free-lining and hardy enough to be cast 100 yards with a treble hook in their back and still stay alive for a few hours.

I grew up in a seaside town with an amphitheatre on the beach front where people fed pigeons. I would regularly buy a loaf of un-sliced brown bread and squash the loaf into a ball and chuck it for them to squabble over... Mayhem to amuse a wayward lad slowly making his way to work.

I personally find the forceful and passionate ramping extremely unpleasant, especially on a share that has caused so much loss to so many. Why do they want to drown out any post that does not suit their agenda?

And if they sell someone will say they have sold to force the price down to get a bigger share at a cheaper price...

What about the people who have held all the way down from £5, £10, £20 or £40. Surely they might have felt the heat already or is there something I do not understand about making money whilst holding a share that has lost 97% of its value over 2 years [and that is excluding the dilution].

Are the dearly departed due Royalties on any sales - first time I have heard that. It would seem unfair if they still end up getting a share of any revenue produced after nearly bankrupting the company and getting removed as directors (to allow further shares to be placed which prevented bankruptcy as far as I am aware).

People buy / sell 1 share to pretend that there is some code going on between market makers and then comment on the trade to try to influence buyers / sellers. Maybe it is time for someone to buy twitter followers - it can be quite cheap...

Came across the company whilst reading the morning RNSs - looks interesting; Covid-19 proof and growing dividends. Added to a watchlist - any comments / thoughts to share?

The problem with pigs is slaughtering and the spread of the virus in abattoirs as it is a human intensive industry. If you are into industrial food / meat protein producers it is better to focus on poultry as the slaughtering process if far more automated / industrialised.

The birds still need to be fed though.

Its African Swine Flu that caused the Bovine problems... It is why I am interested in PHC and ANP; I have some PHC at a small loss on a trade that I got greedy on and am waiting for a rerate downwards with ANP. Both interest because of their roles in the protein food chain.

Thanks - I saw the options on Scancells website when looking for the number of shares in issue and the performance criteria are not mentioned there. The extract below is from the last accounts and explains a little more. Apologies to all for creating any confusion iro options.

There were about 200m shares in issue then, now 465m. With the dilution and drop in share price that is over a 90% loss of value.

2 of the Directors have options at 4.5p that expire in 2 months time - will they show confidence in their Company and take up the shares; I am sure Scancell's bank balance would be happy with another £300k deposited.

Maybe just the normal sexism in the pharma industry? Some hate to be proven wrong by a woman...
