Could Sunak not only fail to grant new licences, but also cancel existing ones?
I think it is unlikely (got that SE18), but it cannot be disregarded as a possibility - wise old saying "Never say never" (got that SE18).
Why do I raise this point? Because it is happening in America, and what happens there happens here.
See this -
"Biden announced he was canceling all drilling on Federal land in Alaska and termination existing permits"
"Is it even legal for the Biden Administration to cancel previously issues leases?"
They are from this article -
"What is Biden Doing in Alaska?".
https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/international-news/politics/what-is-biden-doing-in-alaska/
It ends with "They can only blame Russia and climate change for so long until the masses wake up" - but dolts like Dr. P will never wake up because of their bigotry and refusal to accept facts.
Dizzy wrote - "I certainly don't appreciate reading your Bile every day" - every day ? - look back over the last week - I don't post every day - so grow up you oaf.
and as for "bile" - I don't post bile, I merely defend myself against the false accusations and misrepresentations of others. Do you think I not allowed to defend myself?
If you want to see bile, look at your own post you opinionated hypocrite.
A post in two parts, part 1 - "how on earth could I have come to the conclusion that you said there would be NO new licences" - because, SE18 - you are not seeking truth, you are simply looking to push your vendetta against me.
On the 1st August I said they probably WILL award new licences - why do you not acknowledge that post of mine? The answer is because you are not seeking truth, you wish only to spew out your false accusations against me.
Anyone reading my posts, and you read them all, would have seen the dozens of them where I said "I might be wrong", "In my opinion" and such like. I think it was on 12th August when I wrote "IF Sunak grants new licences" - see that IF - so no expression of certainty from me. It's about balance of probabilities. I had said I might be wrong. I had said it in the vast majority of my posts and so it does not need to be said every time. Anyone can see that when I said "There will be NO new licences. Just Stop Oil and Greenpeace have won" it was just to point out that the balance of probabilities might be tipping towards the green lobby winning.
I take it Dizzy, that you enjoy reading their attacks on me - and they do it just because I was right.
When the DELT sp as at 4p (pre-consolidation) I looked at the chart and saw that it was going to drop to 3.2p. I said so on here and I got a lot of abuse for saying that.
It dropped to 3.2p
i looked again at the chart and saw that it was going to 2.3p. Again, I said so and got a lot of abuse. It dropped to 2.3p.
They want only posts that predict the sp going up. They don't want realistic posts, and probably don't either.
It's about to begin - will Sunak use this as the excuse to backtrack on his pledge to grant new licences? He will say "I wanted to grant licences but people don't want them. It's not my fault." - as Cameron did over foreign aid.
"Just Stop Oil's plot to paralyse London for a whole WEEK unmasked: Militant eco-clowns are planning to cripple the capital by 'radicalising' and recruiting more than 500 students
- Just Stop Oil members will teach the youngsters how to break the law"
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12522027/Just-Stop-Oils-plot-paralyse-London-planning-recruiting-500-students.html
"in that article - has says" - should have been "in that article - he says".
See also in that article - has says about renewable energy - "impossible", "not feasible" and "It cannot be done" - but our treacherous rulers are intent on pressing on regardless - because it isn't about energy, it is part of a bigger plan. The Great Reset.
We do need oil and gas (and coal), but Sunak doesn't want us to have them. He doesn't care if we have blackouts and power cuts, but he is walkng a tightrope - he has to implement Klaus Schwab's plan but he can't push it too quickly or the masses will wake up, as this union leader has done, and there will be pushback, so he might be forced to grant new exploration licences. On 1st August I said they probably will, but only "probably" - there is a chance they won't becue the green lobby is bigger than this union leader.
Also in that article - it says, Tony Blair had promised but not delivered - another one like Sunak, Cameron and the others - promises but not delivered. Broken promises. Never trust our leaders, they tell people what they want to hear, but they have no intention of delivering.
I had better say, before SouthEast18 uses that to make false accusations and misrepresent my words - that last post isn't me saying that there will be no more licences, I was merely pointing out what Starmer wants.
NO MORE GAS DRILLING LICENCES !
"Labour leader Sir Keir has said that he wants a net-zero carbon electricity system by 2030, along with no more licences for North Sea oil and gas drilling."
that is in this article -
"Union boss Gary Smith dismisses Labour's green energy policy as 'impossible' and says the Left has been 'hoodwinked' into backing renewables"
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12515711/Union-boss-Gary-Smith-dismisses-Labours-green-energy-policy-impossible-says-Left-hoodwinked-backing-renewables.html
I'm amazed - a sensible union leader.
Anyone who bought in the last six months was a mug for not heeding my words.
At 2p, the chart was shouting 1p. Don't listen to the endless cheerleading from the rampers on here.
This is on its way back to 15p.
Just to remind you, when this was at 53p, I said it would drop to 42p or 43p. It did.
At 42p I said it was heading for another fall. It dropped to 15p.
Of course I got a lot of abuse. They don't want any chat other than the "Big rise soon" sort of thing. When it was at 53p and I made the forecast of 42p, ISAPENSION was the most offensive and nasty one on here. He had predicted 60p I made him look a right fool so he resorted to insults and abuse.
I don't need to do that sort of thing. The sp proves me right.
Down by nearly 12% - the FCS sp does as I said it would. I've been on this board for many years (and before that when it was FLX). FallingKnife1 has never been wrong with his forecasts for the sp.
A tip - take heed of people who have a track record of being right not newcomers who come on ramping.
Well, all that ramping pushed the sp up a bit, but as usual, the spike has now ended. the FCS sp performs as I said it would.
This is about Ed Dowd's predictions for the stock market.
You can stick you mockery of Dowd. Look at that news out today that proves him right. (Read that Mail article for the economic numbers \ economic data).
Back in 2022, I knew this was coming. One of the country's leading oncologists said so.
"UK oncologist warns of cancers rapidly developing post-Covid vaccination – “I am experienced enough to know that these are not coincidental" - Dr. Angus Dalgleish.
https://expose-news.com/2022/12/05/uk-oncologist-warns-of-cancers-post-vax/
Just as I judged Angus Dalgleish as a man to be heeded, I judge Dowd likewise.
That newspaper article has another figure of note - £1.26 trillion.
"UK cancer timebomb: 184,000 Brits diagnosed with preventable cancer this year - costing economy £78 billion
- Obesity, smoking, drinking, and sun exposure cause four out of 10 cancers
- Preventable cancers will cost Britain £1.26 trillion between now and 2040
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12502603/The-number-people-preventable-cancer-set-reach-184-000-year-cost-78-billion-economy.html
This is what the BBC was reporting this morning, proving Ed Dowd right, and he predicts a huge stock market crash -
"UK cancer timebomb: 184,000 Brits diagnosed with preventable cancer this year - costing economy £78 billion"
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12502603/The-number-people-preventable-cancer-set-reach-184-000-year-cost-78-billion-economy.html
Ed Dowd is a man to heed. He is successful because he does his homework.
I can tell you that Clive Maund has been spot on about everything that happened over the last three and a half years.
"yada yada yada" - isn't exactly intelligent, reasoned debate is it.
I can tell you that Clive Maund has been spot on about everything that happened over the last three and a half years. In his latest piece he says -
"This is the reason why an initial knee-jerk drop in gold and commodities generally and PM stocks can be expected to be followed by an extraordinarily strong recovery."

I still have my holding in SHG (well over a million shares) but I doubt that SHG would be immune from the drop that he predicts.
Getagrip told me that he bought some coal. How clever of him, but then, he's got qualifications. (I have qualifications, but I'm not so insecure that I feel the need to brag about them).
I don't know why he told me that he bought coal.
I must pay respect for his qualifications, he's got letters after his name so I must write Mr. getagrip MM.
