RE: Back to mtl?2 Sep 2025 16:02
i haven't got a clue about where the sp will go next, but more on that later.
this morning i sold three batches each of 40,000 shares.
when it was down by 3p today i had a suspicion that that might be the bottom of the dip so i decided to buy back in.
i bought back one batch of 40,000 but when i tried to place a second order for 40,000 i couldn't get a quote.
i had missed the chance to buy the rest at a lower price than i had sold them. being honest, catching the bottom of the dip was partly a hunch and partly luck.
so i had some cash looking for a home.
i looked at mtl. i had never before looked at mtl.
see the 2y chart for mtl - see the sharp spike up to 14th july. see how it fell back. will thx do that too? honestly, take a look, even if if you are one of those who sneers at charting it is worth a glance and then look at the thx 2y chart, the link to the price chart is above.
see the 2y chart for mtl - see the price action since 14th july when the sharp spike collapsed - to me it forms a falling wedge and they usually breakout to the upside in a powerful rise. so i put the rest of the cash into mtl - stated now - you'll get no bull**** later from me (you never do) if it drops you will know that i got it wrong.
having said all that, i defer to pedro. he knows more than i do.
