anybody technical out there seeing strong support at or around 10p now ? Or are we looking like moving into deep nines - or lower -soon ? I'd do a further tranche of topping up in single figures to bring my average down as a low average would be important in a low ball takeover bid situation and/or sell some into a small/medium relief rally that might be followed by more misery ( such a bid is fairly likely - and becoming more likely by the day - in next 6 months here now imho)

Ps; if, because of 'factors beyond their control' the BOD continue to be unable to get planned drilling completed in even slow order then they will simply not be able to spend the significant amounts of the money they are continuing to bank royally from ongoing production in a strong poo environment. So in the absence of a takeover approach in 2018 a moderate share buyback and/or dividend programme should be announced in early 2019 imho. As well as generating it's own demand for shares more Institutional money will be able - by fund rules/opportunity etc - to get involved with a co. undertaking such an exercise. (and institutional shorters might move on too... Pi's are small beer here and it's all about institutional long money getting more involved and institutional short money getting less involved here asap. )

poo very strong thru 2018 so macro issues a significant factor... including lack of interest in AIM O&G sector at this time, alas ..it producing - mostly - in Argentina is proving to be a so what...indeed weak peso and paying salaries in peso and selling Oil in dollars is actually a bonus..

This and Amerisur are my two frustrating holdings .. continually amazed how hard both s/p's find it to go up to more fair and reasonable levels

Firstly, I'm sorry to hear about your loss so far here Rhodi ( while I've gotten lucky here to be small up so far, I have a similar loss to yours on xtr and there has been similar lack of competence by management there imho.)

Similar happens on AIM regulary, alas, and people have been conditioned to the ubiquity of it now and therefore the apathy.. imho

Market makers with far too much stock on their books from facilitating the seemingly endless downtrend here perhaps?

Previously this was said to be in process and I was hoping for further news on this. If not viably adaptable/ just no longer required etc even a fire sale of all or parts will hopefully raise x hundreds of thousands.. which would be useful cash in the coming months?

I hold about 40- 50 names at one time silverknight.. with a focus on commodity small caps, especially O&G.. so pharma/bio is an aside for me and I know little about it but have had some LUCK in the space and so ongoingly hold 2 or 3 names at any one time. ( OXB and IMM and FUM have luckily seen me make good 'trading' profit.. thankfully as the latter two collapsed subsequently.. snairgen I gave up on at b/e.. mtph I started buying at 60p ish and this mtph has been an utter shocker.. so far.. even after selling 25% of my position on that recent ish one day 100% bounce and buying back in way lower i'm still in a mess here: versus the awful capitulisations of some O&G explorers.. this mtph 3 year ongoing collapse has been astounding.. )

I too was lucky to get out of IMM thru the 100's but see it as a one trick - lupus - pony and while I can understand why a sale might get some more than 12p for patents etc I'm not tempted back in right now. I also got lucky to mostly sell out of FUM in 20's and 30's and have been tempted back into this now and will look to slowly build out maybe an up to - my max. allowed bet per share for me in pharma/bio - gbp 10k position in it (rights issue 'successful' - at a frighteningly low price granted - and now funded phase 3 Med 2002 in 2019.give plenty of opportunity for upside... or close to 0 if it fails, granted)

Thanks for the good colour here George Inn.. but be very careful on overcommitting to any such co. though as it's a brutal - far far more loser gamblers than winners, on average - game of chance imho..

poo ok today though.. albeit after taking a strong hit recently...be interesting to see how this s/p plays tomorrow.. hopefully macro non oil factors not too big an influence here tomorrow.... not least with seemingly good support around 11p here.. i'd be surprised and worried if it went deep into 10's p this week..

indeed it is main market and not AIM, apols all and thanks for pointing out spiderx .. it has been such a dog I assumed it was AIM.. AIM chock full of dogs imho.. and I hold more than my fair share of them :-)

more or less endless set backs since coming to market and my small position here got smashed.. have started to add small amounts here again now and with another top up I'd get b/e down to 5p.. which should not be too stretch a target given its market cap is now sub gbp 10m … I remember when this spiked from listing 8p to 13p - but a year and a half ago - in hope of it being the next big thing.. yikes.. well hope springs eternal and so after a false start previously here's hoping it works out this - fit for purpose - new rig time around ( and their understandings of the field seem far better ) .. good luck to all fellow holders.. in the AIM gambling games we play luck has a far bigger role than most care to admit..all imho and DYOR

but - as an AIm player for a good while now - alas, not surprising to me. AIM is brutal and until tangible bottom line things happen AIM assumes the worst, as a rule. Sure some / all the stuff moneymunch bombards us with here could happen.. but plenty might not and what does might happen very slowly/incrementally. So Bagr tell us concrete tangible bottom line news and we'll get excited then.

PS: this ruyi investment exercise here has been extremely drawn out and at least a large part of the buy in money is still not in Bagir bank a/c.. that could readily take plenty further time, or in worst case, not actually happen at all.. so the market is sceptical on this stage 1 too... and, logically imho, the market thinks, if ruyi takes this long to complete stage 1 they might well take a long time to build out Bagr too.. hopefully not, of course.

My holding here is now about half it's peak and I've banked a decent profit so far. (my b/e is 1.9p and I've sold between 2.5p and 3p) On tangible news that starts to move the s/p up, I'd likely put some more back in here.. meanwhile I sit and wait and understand that this can go back under 2p if the wait for the actual deal completion drags - further - on... sadly

I have gbp 7.5k in this - and around 60% down here now ...ouch.. but am guessing there are plenty much - much - bigger ouches out there on mtph - and, having thought about it, I intend going to gbp 10k absolute max. here and so, towards getting best bang for my remaining buck, would be happy to see this go lower again now.. indeed after said I'd buy more in the lucky / unlucky 13's p not least as a very quick chart glance tells me peak s/p here was just north of 270 p - happy to be corrected on that ?- .. and 13's p would see me a paid up member of the 95% down club!!

Generally, Cesspit , money black hole, rotten, fundamentally flawed etc as AIM may be, MTPH by s/p fall is still one of its great mongrels.

Here's hoping ever mongrel has at least two day ( as, if memory serves, it very briefly doubled off the back of whatever US origined flawed rumour a while back .. so we at least need one other day :-) )

So are you looking for/seeing sub 10p here soon then Col. Drake ? Or, if massive s/p spike on strikes, perhaps crater to 7p if multiple dusters? Not to mind a million, you could be a multi millionaire off the back of that?!

I hear Eldorado more than you colonel.. but we're all entitled to our opinions.. and I'd bite your hand off for 25p offer in next 6 months please... even including off the back of some strikes in this drill program

I'm a long term holder here and used post on II a bit on SDX - and more on others- but have given up on it and post LSE only now. I believe strongly in SDX regardless of current s/p 'lowness' and indeed see it as one of my top 5 'best' oiler bets. But, against a great POO backdrop, it has been a very surprisingly/disappointingly difficult year for oilers generally .. (I have some benefit of hindsight reasons for this but don't we all and so i'll spare you those here as AIM itself is a big issue imho)

I've played AIM across sundry sectors for a fair few years now and have done decently, apart from this year.. (medium ouch so far this year) and it's my learnings from that I want to throw out here now.. out of frustration, not least :-)

It comes more and more clear to me that global Macro of all sorts have a huge impact on AIM stocks generally.. and at the core of it is a lack of liquidity in the AIM market.. allowing small volumes have a big price impact eg people trading on margin are forced sellers as soon as there's even small global noise - very thankfully we haven't had big global noise in recent years - be that of their own volition or the margin providers - Ig Index etc - stopping them out automatically...and in such a run for cover environment there are by definition few buyers generally. On top of this forced/panicked selling, short sellers 'enemy' types know they're pushing against an open door.. and can ratchet the s/p down even further readily.. all this making potential buyers become even more disinterested in participating in AIM etc.. and it becomes a self fulfilling downward spiral.. sometimes to ridiculously low s/p levels... and only then does meaningful buying start again; hopefully (Ps : to those who say market makers always coin it, one way or other.. I say maybe they're sitting with chunks of stocks on their books that they can only sell at lower and lower prices, i.e. increasingly less than they bought them for in first instance.. and so nefarious tactics are their best go to mechanism to try and get them out of holes.. further undermining AIM again etc..)

And so we continue on down... sadly... While I'm not a seller and don't intend being I've not topped up again here so far .. I'll wait and see for a while /good while longer.

I rate you doc ..hence why I’m interested particularly in your target exit levels, but also your current average etc ..the fact your current average is 13p reinforces my rating you :-)

at the right price I expect they would.... and it'll be II's that predominately decide whether a given offer price would be right in the end.

docisacroc.. the reason you're focusing on 2018 in latest post is because you've been 'invested' in 2018 only so far.. and me moaning about the last 3 years because I've been invested that long.. it's human nature to think about your own situation first.. fair enough .. but the issues here have built up over years and are big now.. and there are lots of longterm PI's who have been smashed here - the 5 year chart here is appalling - they're probably trying to forget or too shocked, saddened or angered to even bother posting here.. for plenty of those it's a long long way back to even b/e now .. and it was all overseen by this board: generally, there has to be accountability in the world or else order breaks down.

fair play doc.. you know what you are doing better than plenty of the rest of us here, perhaps.. good luck with your bet here .. you win and we all long win .. but whatever, i'll still be resentful of the bods performance over 2016,17,18.... going forward as poo rise amazingly seems to have no effect here, it seems it'll be all about the drill bit success or not.....good luck to all fellow gamblers here on that !

So what's your target exit price then doc and what's your current average price and how long have you been invested here?

For many believers/longterm holders here it's 40 or 50 p or above target exit price..and many of their averages are north of 20p or 30p etc still here... So if the herd starts arriving at say 15p here and it motors on from there, many, many herd need to arrive and hold for this to get to 50p, I suggest.. and guess what: those herd will have to do very well on this bet at least for many - now way under water - long term holders here to get a good return 'in the end'.

Ps; I've just topped up again here.. more to get my average down than anything else.. because I started buying this in late 20's p a few years ago - so a medium term hold already and ouch - … versus I could have bought at 11p 3 years later, I've made many bad bets so far here..as have almost all long term holders.
