New Senior Management coming on board and a re invigoration of the presentation of this company widely would help considerably with its image, many would agree .. and hopefully also the s/p pick up somewhat from new buyers coming on board off the back...

Will such happen this year ?

Decently more likely no than yes, I'd guess... but great if I'm wrong.

(And I'm not talking about a new on the ground resource development project/program implementation manager .. although that would be a smaller step forward .... I'm talking at about a Director - or Managing Director - with strong marketing orientation focus)

PS More generally, there are good reasons why this and plenty similar companies s/p 's struggle badly as a rule these days: I'd offer that the market is more intelligent than ever in the getting mathematical probability of the relatively small number of top tier and mid tier buyers in play versus the relatively - very - large number of 'decent +' target prospects listed - across all markets globally - AND unlisted out there.. not only in the context of buy out / JV probability but in the context of prices achievable for such in a buyers market too ..
That said, towards offering hope/balance too, a few stand out deals happening around the same time and there might me a more general sector s/p re rate, especially from such low levels as we currently have...

Such UK government backing will be seen as a very strong endorsement, far and wide, I'd expect... and I'll offer here now that for the first time in quite a while, that I believe 40's and 50's p is now - considerably - more likely than 30's and 20's p for next share price movements here.

Generally, I hope new buyers will be more open to coming on board here around now.. especially as the beginning of a new tax year too.

I did another top up this morning.. and while close to where I want to be in size and average price here now - I'm back in profit this bet cycle round now.. which helps my mood here, granted - I might be open to another top up or two, into further s/p strength too even (as opposed to being open to topping up to avearge down only)

Ps: Such calculations by whoever often end up well off for one reason or other .. or other.. etc.. so I'll respectfully not go there 'valuation - it -is'

Instinctively, I continue to like this a lot.... have been slow to grow out my position, granted.. but adding little by little .. including a small add today.. and more adds incrementally to come from me here, I expect.. not least now that Major Tom feels him going long once again here is a- ok by Ground Control !

That - impressive - podcast re iterated in my mind that CB has excellent Strategic Orientation .. and while his timing may be off 'a bit', as a rule .. off the back of this strategic orientation, the stable of existing resource assets is strong here and the future looks - very - bright for Xtract resources

I agree there's a good to very good chance that 70kg per month from FB is doable by May or June (and there's GF and BE adding a bit more again too, hopefully)

Including FB getting to onging 70kgs ish pm - and hopefully more again into the future too - putting to bed any thoughts of a need for a 2023 placing for further Bushranger drilling, it should also make crystal clear to all that Africa Gold revenue alone is indeed worth between 2p and 5 p a share here .... which will make any s/p anywhere in the 1.5p to 2p range feel like a good buying opportunity for plenty sitting on sideline here, I'd hope

(xtr might/would be buyers would have to believe that putting say 2m USD of upcoming Africa Gold revenue into Bush/Ascot drilling is worthwhile too granted .. but plenty will, I believe)

So I'm now hoping for a rally to 2p-2.5p range here this quarter.

must admit that I felt pressured into doing a small top up when this started moving on up earlier.... and so did one in 33's p .. maybe I should have done a bigger top up I'm now thinking.. fomo if this rallies punchily now ! :-)

I'll not top up here and my bet size is tiny versus my overall portfolio.. a hard core few k BET this is.. and I allow myself a few similar every year.. and only need one of them to meaningfully turn around to make up for the others being car crashes, too whatever degrees..

(Aside: i'm still only down 1 odd k on my bet here.. and this can of course still turn around.. or get sold for decent price relative to todays s/p ..and the earliest I believe this could go under in 15 + months away still.. and the market cap is extraordinarly low already by many - but far from all, granted.. as some might say it's now/soon enough worth zero for eg - definitions imho.. )

I have topped plenty back up here in anticipation.

A bit surprised this has not rallied decently so far this morning.. and so ask myself why might the market not gobble these up right now:

How certain is it that this specific special land designation / Heron production licence approval is on the agenda this current parliament sitting window? ( if decently uncertain, when is the next sitting window and how certain might it be that it will be in that etc. ?)

If/when this draft leglislation gets offered for debate/vote/sign off - if that's the end to end process ? - how certain is it that full end to end process wil be successfully completed in Parliament?

in the round, this being 6.5p ish around now feels very low indeed to me.. approaching shockingly so... and I stilll fel this should be around 10p now... but the q1 update will tell much.. if it's even decent, I expect this to rerate.. (but if poor/bad then the market can say it called it right ahead of time)

i'd have liked to think this would go up as a knbowck on effect of that ECSC deal..

I raised that question here then Andrew .. and noted then it could be interpreted six months from Oct 22 ( although you could equally/more so even be right, no doubt.. and I was livid then if he meant end June/early July... and ditto now.. I've defended him plenty before but that would be my biggest annoyance with him yet.. and I've had plenty of annoyance with him before )

i'm going to get ba+lsy here/now Andrew and offer that I feel there's a good chance we'll get a Fairbride progress update sometime in April and it will show solid to good progression month on month over recent months and while still a ways to go to get to where it can get to on a monthly run rate basis, people will be reasurred and a somewhat meaningful re rate will occur.. and that get us towards that 2.5p sometime in April ..
(I may be completely wrong of course.. but you've gotta have a view.. and that's my latest one )
