I also repeat my ambition for 26, as per my post at the back end of 25 was not to still to be saying 'This time next year...you know it makes sense' at the end of 26.. but I kinda expect to be saying that at the start of 26 and maybe the middle too..

Versus a very progressive half year report in Oct 25, I'm shocked this s/p has fallen back to sub 15p now..

If progress has continued as forecast, then I'd categorise this as extremely undervalued now?!

I remain long and strong here... and expectant.. but this had a torrid couple of years before 2025 ...and is very illiquid ...and its management are very quiet.... so who knows really/only time will tell.

PS: I have this down as one of my top 10 picks for 2026

My guess after todays RNS's is that Nipco/AK will not be taking this company private for, at very least, the next 18 months..

And the key turnaround drivers for me here will all play out within those 18 months... and so the s/p could appreciate considerably from here and Pi's would get to be involved in this.

So, while I have mixed feelings generally here, I'm fine with staying patient on my holding here to see the play out thru 26 and on into 27

(And I can semi readily see how this s/p could get into the 10 to 15 p range - and maybe even beyond that - thru 26)

I value both JDAU and Howezap as high quality posters here .. but, in their way, the likes of Ben 'owell and Jezzoo are quality posters here too imho..

(A good BB has both bulls and bears posting ongoingly.. this BB broadly fits said criteria, in my mind.. although we could do with a quality bull or three more here, towards better balance..)

I see my play here as a BET not an Investment.. and have no problem dissing Mr Bird semi regularly, if/as I see fit.. although I have actually tried to add a bit of positivity to my posting too 'ere in 25.. and expect I'll do similar in 26..as I do think the assets here are at least good.. and with the price of copper and silver - and gold -flying, I think the market cap here is ridiculously low at anything sub 1p.. that said, I still haven't been able to bring myself to top up 'ere for a long time now - indeed I sold a third of my current holding at a v small loss in autumn, as I guessed it would be tumbleweed here til earlyish 26.. but I absolutely did not expect a placing here btw - as I guess implementation projects will take much time still and include a set back or three along the ways.. but hopefully the s/p can still get above 1p in the least in q1 26.. and higher again in q2.. and again q3...

Most of all, very hopefully I'm not saying 'this time next year', this time next year

All eminently reasonable requests by Ben 'owell and sundry others re timelines, focus, transparency etc.. but, I expect, Colin Bird in 2026 will, as ever, do things the way that best suits Colin across any/all moments in time.

The amount of balls he and his team juggle across all his companies will, as ever, be utterly ridiculous, and hence the flitting from this, that and 'tother ad infinitum seems destined to remain par for the course, by definition.

But good assets are being progressed, at whatever variable pace, 'ere now, at least

It's still a progressive RNS and the company has been slowly/incrementally tackling its meaningfully leveraged position over more recent years, yet the s/p is cratered around post financial 2010 -2012 levels, which I think is harsh.

Towards further balance to your post, there are plenty of metrics that say this share is meaningfully undervalued at current levels.

I'm fine with sitting patiently on my holding here and expect I'll add some more soon and indeed incrementally thru 2026 too...

PS Goulash say all re that latest sub standard handle, Sir.... he's got to go back to WOS.. and the specialist language alongside.. that was banging..

If they are now in some sort of discussions re JV or sale or whatever such, then this might easily stay suspended for weeks to come, not least as Christmas/NY will see many key decision makers on hols.. etc

So patience the order of the day.

Also, having a discussion on something may readily be a very different thing to actually reaching an agreement on something.. so my guess is that this could easily come back to trading in, for eg, Jan with no deal having been agreed.. and so updated MRE is put out and thereafter, a drilling plan for lnd for 26 as a standalone entity as per now, may be released..is how this plays out....

Interesting post Consilium.. and this exercise might of course be a cynical play to pretend change while simply maintaining the status quo.

My guess is the wording of the JV that they signed gave too much power to Anglo, eg the lack of drilling and the walk away with peanuts compensation etc.. and that JV 'achievement' the reason NVS and Remy got away with paying themselves ridiculously, is a huge irony. (you had one job to do well, just one job..etc..)

More generally, putting money in shares in such AIM co's is all hard core gambling any which ways, and, at the end of the day. I placed the BET here and however badly it goes is entirely my fault.

I'm for change such as this, not least as from my - very - detached perspective here, NvS, in the round, was unimpressive towards very unimpressive in his role here. Also he paid himself considerably too much, another reflection of an ego that was inappropriately large.

Would it be allowable for Lnd management team to use this suspension window to go back to parties who previous Management had discussions with, when trying to sell the company a few years back, with the updated MRE to see if any interest now in whatever form of a deal?

And sundry discussions might take time, especially if a possible deal now potentially coming on the table, and hence the delay in releasing the updated MRE...

And the wider market gets an night before or a 7am the day of return opportunity to read the MRE / outcome of deal discussions etc.. and so not disadvantaged when trading resumes...

Perhaps Old School Values could do Mr Bird a mates rates deal on said nearly new pucker Transit Van?!

And throw in some branding on the side of the van for free:
