RE: Summary of Colin Bird and XTR since 202526 Jan 2026 12:02
The header and sundry messaging on here has gotten me thinking about Colin Bird playing in this game from back in day thru the decades:
His 'bread and butter' has been explore and when the market turns into a bull phase, sell on the exploration asset/s, much more than bringing his explored assets into producing assets .. and hence why he generally patiently/'opefully sits on a bunch of assets across a bunch of co's waiting for a proper commodity bull market.
Thankfully, the market for gold, silver, copper - antimony - etc are, after a bear phase, now in a proper bull phase...... and sale opportunity for whatever of his exploration asset across any of his co's seems much more likely in 2026 than in previous recent years.. and any such exploration asset sale should have a very good s/p effect on that specific co, and also a decent knock on effect across all his stable of co's.. So that alone gives me plenty of hope for my BET 'ere..
Also, as mid/large tier producers have been generally very slow to buy up minors exploration assets, Mr Bird has been forced into pushing on towards/to productions for suitable plays across his stable too. And, while I have plenty of reservations about his companies capacity to smoothly deliver - via JV/outsourcing etc - even small production wins, that still gives me additional hope for my bet 'ere too .... ( not least as can become more compelling a sell out opportunity even semi close to production go live etc)
Including this s/p still being very lowly versus the assets, and the metals cycle having - imho - a good distance to run in this bull phase, and all my above points on top, I still have plenty of hope for a strong 2026 for xtr.l's, share price
So 'ere's 'oping Ben 'Owell, 'ere's 'oping lad
