RE: Monetised asset within 2 years13 Aug 2019 00:01
I was listening to RR, President & CEO of Sprott via one of his interviews. He said they invest in a company they are interested in via the funding route.
So, in today*s funding, it was said that new institutions and high net worth individuals participated via Numis [new and additional broker] , the specialist in this area.
In the Gervaise Heddle BBR interview today, he mentioned the institutions, HNW & specialist broker and continued about proving the other assets etc ?
One does not need a new and additional specialist institutional broker to be appointed unless they have a continuous role to play? GGP now has 2 brokers instead of 1.
So, from RR, it is the institutions that approach the co if they are interested.
For a junior explorer, there is no need to ramp up drilling like skittles? Once Blackhills has completed drilling, there will be a bit of time lag to obtain the assay results as they come in.
Then, once all the results are in, there is a pause to wait for industry reaction etc eg like the last time with Havieron.
So, funding may then take place well after the Blackhills results are all in.
Even then, they would raise $2m+ like the last time to top up the cash float to the usual £4m mark. However, in today*s RNS, they are raising £4m+ [£6m total cash in hand] to take on 2 projects ie Scallywag and Paterson Range East.
Then, once Scallywag has been also drilled out and all the assays are in, then comes another funding event for Paterson Range East. Of course, the technical team evaluates the results at each stage like the last time prior to proceeding with another project target subject to x, y & z?
There was chatter on Twitter and one said he was not offered to take part in today*s funding. No one here has said they were offered any either. High net worth individuals are defined as having $3m or more in investable assets, n o t including their primary residence. An ultra high net worth individual has $30m or more of investable assets.
Interesting. One therefore wonders if our resident S.B [4% holder of GGP shares] was offered any of today*s raise specially for tutes & HNW individuals.
Thoughts?
