- 16 samples were sent for REE analyses, 5 out of 16 exceeded 7,000ppm TREO, 2 at 2,000ppm with the HIGHEST value being 18,179ppm [1.82%]
"The discovery of a new rare earth element deposit EAST of world class Kvanefjeld rare earth project is s i g n i f i c a n t for REM."
"These assay results are orders of magnitude HIGHER than those previously reported and are indeed HIGHER than the reported r e s o u r c e s grades of the nearby TANBREEZ deposit." - CEO Kiran Morzaria comment.
"In addition, some of these samples contain significant quanities of enodymium oxide which is a crical rare earth oxide or CREO." Kiran Mozaria
"This along with the PROXIMITY of the results to TWO of the WORLD*S LARGEST rare earth deposits is very encouraging." -Kiran Mozaria.
Comment:
From the Cadence Minerals website at www.cadenceminerals.com [click Greenland project] it said the area is 21km2.
From the Greenland Minerals & Energy website [GGG on ASX], one can click on to their presentations, namely, Perth Presentation dated 20 Oct 2018 that stated:
"Lujavrite ore seam OVER 50 SQ KM through northern Ilimaussaq complex."
So, one needs to find out:
1) Is the current licence registered as "Active" with the end date 31 Dec 2018 been renewed by the Greenland govt? Observer842 gave the link within this forum a day or so ago that does state active but n o forward date for end of period.
2) Area size does not mean that it is the length of the ore strike. So, something to ask.
3) Does the Kvanefjeld deposit run INTO the current licence of REM plc [now renamed Cadence Minerals]? However, the licence is registered under Rare Earth Resources Ltd that gives the address as London. Links have been shown before.
Or is it closer to TANBREEZ?
4) The Tanbreez deposit has no or less contaminants ie uranium ? - so does the REM-KDNC licence mimic more Tanbreez or Kvanejfeld with uranium?
5)How do the grades in the said RNS above compare with Kvanejfeld although said to be a higher grade than Tanbreez in some samples?
6)GGG*s CEO has been interviewed. Yesterday, the FT contacted Greg Barnes, the owner and geo of Tanbreez and he commented on their resource. Greg Barnes is from Perth, Australia and he discovered both Tanbreez & Kvanejfeld from what I read if correct.
4) From Adams Intel on Greenland rare earths, there is GGG*s Kvanejfeld, Tanbreez, 1 other small co which appears to be a private co in the area. So REM plc then would be the 4th co as its near Kvanejfeld & Tanbreez.
5)From recall, the exploration work etc was done by GGG using SRK and REM plc paid out in shares.
6)With so much publicity over Greenland rare earths which is still on-going via the Times today [Rivals between US & China] etc, it would be good for enlightenment from KDNC.
