We need to get them away, otherwise our new prospective 'recipients' will not be willing to let the SP loose. Unless, as you suggest someone is willing to pay more for the same shares, possibly in job lot. That is why it's so important to get news of these 'tranches' being taken asap. Certainly will be a green light for me to add more to my overweight position.

Either way, I do think from my perspective, without a floor price and unknown how long before meaningful news arrives, in the words of The Vivienne, drag is great, when on the stage .... with stocks, not so !

We REALLY, REALLY need the drag caused by last RNS to be removed and get those pesky tranches away ASAP.

Basically, what Jansen is saying is that our SP is being f&*ked with and our value, not even takeover value is significantly greater than our current ~124p.

Thing is, by default doing business in Africa involves copious amount of brown parcels, not even envelopes and plenty of ongoing spoils !

Saudi's will not have a problem with that provided it achieves their desired results.

Do feel things are at a pivotal point and the right piece of news would kick-start a buying frenzy here, atm history is not on our side, hence depressed SP and lack of trading interest.

One thing to remember is the available North Sea RBL / capital funding for projects, acquisitions etc has shrunk considerably to the point of being virtually none existent. Deals would have been worked on for months ahead, now, with inflation / EPL / Banana republic government / green agenda etc etc the investment capital rug has been pulled so funding big projects is totally different to 12 months ago .... thanks to Sunak/Hunt.

NEO with 50% working interest and operatorship hopefully have all field development investment covered should we not bring the 3rd player to our table. If a 3rd player is off the table, then I would be happy to handover another ~30% for fully carry to production. We need to get this project moving before Labour ( looks likely atm ) decide more barriers to NS O&G production / investment are needed !!!

Thanks for that, although as I mentioned before, big difference between market valuing a company vs t/o valuation. Serica ended up paying circa ~$21boe afaic, FWIW estimated valuation applied to SQZ reserves atm are circa ~£4.75boe. I asked if anyone had a figure for HBR's current Cash on Hand and Debt, could you help on this matter. TIA
