Yes, 4.45% yield atm on forthcoming dividend. The way our SP is being attacked, could easily be in excess of >5% come next week's EX-DIV date.

Agree, moving my dividend payment elsewhere out of Oil into telecom and cyber security, real pity how the Serica story has turned out. atb

Yep, good opening as you would of expected on these results, then within 30 minutes the algo's kicked in and down she went .... For me it is apparent that accumulation on a significant scale is/has been occurring here as the SP continues its decline, that's for one reason only imo.

Is the narrative changing, or just a flash in the pan !

This morning, front page of BBC news, pictured a Shell Tanker with headline "Shell profits drop as oil and gas price fall". I thought, great the winds of changes are about to blow our way ... how wrong could I have been. The link title was then instantly changed (same link by the way) to now show BG Engineer working on a home boiler, with the headline now changed from Shell one to, "Record BG profits after energy bill change"

They say the BBC is an unbiased service, think this type of journalism needs to be reported, by all means report on BG profits but not change the whole narrative of a previously valid article and consign it to history .... even goggle search no longer is able to recover the original story as the actual contents of the link has changed to BG content now.

Tiny mention of Shell at end of story, "Fossil fuel giant Shell said profits fell", but the whole headline narrative changed to continue to push massive profits gained by high energy prices !!

Interesting thought, although I would guess that would only happen AFTER our Moroccan assets have been either hived off into another company or more likely sold outright and sale proceeds returned to shareholders. That I'm guessing would give Asker- Adonis the financial clout (if needed from sale) required to take private the remaining 'green' arms of Chariot which they would probably then IPO & re-list some point down the road if it suits them. Just a thought but stranger things have happened. Remember CHAR green arm could be worth $billions$ at some point in the future, grabbing all the spoils now via Mgt buyout for nominal amount could be too tempting for our board & Asker. All pure speculation of course !!

One thing for sure, Asker has not turned up here now for the fun of it.... interesting times ahead.

Looks as if Askar Alshinbayev has invested his own money and not via Meridian Capital Limited, unless he's fluffed up the RNS notification or some clever tax loophole. Very unusual if it is a personal investment of this quantity and holding, adds to the mystery and intrigue for sure. However, he's done the same at Afentra, moving from 11.96% straight to 21.86%, so guess it should read as Meridian Capital Limited being the official holder, aimo though !! So we should also shortly be added to https://meridiancapitallimited.com/investments/ listing under their Energy and Natural Resources Investments.

Either way, I'm more than happy we are seeing a major holder RNS's increasing their position.

Odd's on he would of opted for the allocation and managed as an already significant holder to have been given option on 'mates' rates too, otherwise he would of been well 'Trou du Cru' off. Just a case of how many more he will add imo

Today, it's RR smashing it out of the park ..... not carbon polluting are their products at all. Oh hang on a minute, UK only need to super tax UK energy producers, RR users can get their hydrocarbons from anywhere else on the planet once UK NS is shut down, so not a problem.

Appears, not a day goes by recently that doesn't have news of yet another company making record / excessive profits ... today it's Unilever. No calls for windfall tax for them !!

For me it seems that everyone have raised prices on the back of inflation / CoL as an excuse, every Tom, Dick and Harry company will show higher profits but none will ever get tax more, let alone at 75%.
