As we all know, money's no object for the PIF / Saudi's Crown controlled mega fund. They could so easily decide to take the market by surprise and adopt their “bulldozer approach,” to ore too.

What comes first chicken (ZIOP sale) or egg (Confirmed route to market (fully funded)), not out of the question for both to occur simultaneously when you have virtually unlimited funds and 100% desire to be number 1.

Well if PIF go after 'green ore' like that have gone after footballers over the last month or so, then things could happen very quickly, as money is no barrier .... they just want the best they can get !

Yes, i3 would appear to be a nice fit too ... production base ~24kboepd, ~50/50 oil gas, North Sea assets and significant production footprint in Canada, question why is it's MCap sat at just ~£155m ?

FFS, down ~18% MORE today .... all due to yesterdays raise RNS .... Did that really need to be issued, particularly the timing of it and the lack of floor price for tranches ?

No reason why SQZ couldn't corner the domestic Moroccan market and supply EU via Maghreb–Europe Gas Pipeline (GME). We should really be looking at all Moroccan plays imo, PRD, CHAR, SOU even SDX . Although, I do have my reservation regarding future of SQZ if any of this were to happen as they are all virtually none-producers but with gigantic potential in the near future.

I would, for sure, prefer an instantly accretive overseas acquisition in the first instance, we need something to re-energise our SP.

China has been name-checked time and time again in our interim's' and final's for some time now !

The issue with the funding, is it being open-ended, no fixed price or date for the market to work which breeds uncertainty. Might have to roll with it for time being.

We have had an SP peak ever ~4 years, there or thereabouts ... roll on 2027.

For the record, I got sucked-in at ~15p on the way down and again today just before close .... will I ever learn. atb

For sure, this RNS raise has opened up more questions than answers.

What many will be watching for is how the take up goes and how fast .... June 2020 release 1 of 3 got completed in Jan 2021, with tranche 2 completed in May 2021, then September informed as partly filled with fully drawn notification in July 2022.

Today's RNS for the raise may possibly turn out to be mates rates or just business as normal, showing Mr Market it has a continued revenue stream for as long as it takes.

So on the surface afaic no change to our position given our excellent detective works by several members here, in summary, ground breaking news could drop at anytime is still a real possibility. Although the raise may have put an additional drag on our SP in making meaningful progress without 'solid' news. Given all that, IF the first tranche is taken in double quick time, then that would be a signal for sure.

Yes, our SP was no way near 18.8p at any point during the raise.

The placing for 7m x 3 tranches back in June 2020 was structured the same as today's, other than today's being 12m x 3.

Question, did we ever complete the 3rd final tranche, I remember it being partly filled ?

Weird way of doing it over a period of relatively short time span .... I did say mates rates were on the cards, appears this is one way of doing it .... So not bad news imo at all.
