Forgot to add, that whoever comes in WILL want to be operator, so naturally would normally imply min 50.1% of our equity position (37.6% of licence), more likely >40%, probably closer to, if not >50% of the licence ....

I would have thought we would retain 20-30% max imo if we are asking for large cash injection and free carry or two to production, that would be a good result should free carries prove successful.

I would be more than happy with ~25% should the additional on-block exploration upside of >4.5 Tcf come in .

The Saudi's need to shift their economy from O&G and fast, as the 'green' agenda is starting to gather real pace so Premium quality 66% Fe content iron ore is a must, with money being no object for them, just a case of ink on paper.

Saudi's (OPEC) have, in effect, controlled pricing in a commodity with which they own in abundance, they will be looking to do the same with Iron ore too imo.

30 months for the new Pointe Noire facilities to be up and running, is a blink of an eye in real terms, takes longer in the UK to fill a pot-hole.

You are not going to have these facilities sitting idle waiting for customers to arrive, you make sure you go out and get them. 30 months is probably what is needed to get up to some sort of decent production and overland routes sorted, so agreements need to be signed and rubber stamped NOW imo, just saying !

Afternoon, pre EPL, that would of been a route for sure, one which I would of welcomed. Now however given Labour's rhetoric, withdrawal of field allowance, not authorising any drilling being just a few, then wanting to apply a 'proper windfall tax' would make investors a little jittery. TW was already a bridge too far for me, I would rather us spend the acquisition capital and ~£30m drill costs, or whatever, on assets outside of UK jurisdiction. So for me, it's a STRONG NO. atb

Pity our NBP couldn't hold its gains .... today NBP DA was 107.8p/therm, for w/e now down to 84.3p/therm.

Great example of how NBP over the past two sessions with a one day surge would be capable of destroying the 'floor' in 24 hours. NBP could be below the floor, then all it takes is one day to pop above the floor and 2 consecutive quarters start again.

That doesn't even take into account how Brent could easily do the same.

The 'floor' in place, as it is, for me has no value whatsoever.
