i'm 50 come feb 8th bad-dude, and the closer i get, the more i'm thinking along the modern socialist view point.

i'm an absolute dichotomy right now to be honest (once being bored) as i feel i need to earn as much as possible but in the same breath, i've earned enough and my absolute joy is to spend time with my family walking fields that will soon be houses due to this capitalist society we're currently in.

those with what i thought i aspired for seem to be ****s (i can't knowingly have a good time communicating with) where as those without seem to have the right agenda in life, and i'm far more interested in their dialogue.

i guess it comes to us all.

Without going off topic against RR, GST is a prime example recently.

Topped out at 3.10ish (after Shareflyer’s great shout by the way), then plummeted to 2.00 based on the extra share issue.

I mentioned this in my blog and you either get in top end to be privy to the 1.90 retail offer, or you wait wand buy later.

Personally, I missed the retail offer (as I was doing this due diligence you speak of) and bought at 2.20. Discount off the high of 3.10 but certainly not as good as the offer at 1.90.

That offer to retailers ceased today. All it needs to do is get to 2.65 and those retailers who bought at the high and got in at the retail offer, will be in profit.

I waited and so my base being 2.20 doesn’t warrant a sell at 2.65.

Swings and roundabouts of course, but purely down to gut feeling after doing the due diligence.

Totally understand the premise of what this thread has become, and yet another awesome analysis from Svend.

I reply to PEAK, I’ve always gone against the grain using nothing other that gut feeling and very basic analysis of companies. It’s served me well, but maybe not for everyone.

Basic analysis being;

1) is the company profitable? If not, are they destined to be profitable?

2) Are they undervalued to to exterior factors? Not internal issues.

3) Do I feel the global economy will benefit from their products?

4) And most importantly, does their MCap put them within their like minded company group?

No real need to any major analyse after thanking my humble opinion apart from:

5) Can I lose this investment and still be happy?

If we wait for these filters to show us what to invest in, we’ve missed the boat, as so many others will also have the news.

RR being a prime example. Reports at right issue stage (34p) was to not even think about RR as a possible investment.

Using those pointers above, it’s clear as anything they would recover and get close to that £7 marker (Feb 2025).

Rely less on what you’re reading and have faith in your understanding.
