Who mentioned her being a woman? I’m stipulating she used current guidance from a Labour protocol that WE CAN ALL USE if what she (Labour as a whole) if what happens goes against what I was told.

I have no desire to answer any questions from an amoeba like you Dougal, but if anyone else is interested, I’m not a fool - my average is 93p (ish) and I have no desire to raise that, especially when my goal is £7.

That’s basic economics.

To be serious for a second, I live in a very conservative area. Our conservative MP usually gets about 70%. This time around it was close and so I emailed both candidates the question (once).

The Labour candidate got back with what I have posted clearly here and on my blog.

My reason for posting it was to suggest there may be something to hold Labour to account if anything she clearly mentioned didn’t go the way it should.

Nothing less, nothing more.

I will add that her email was filled with copy and paste material that I assume is from the Labour government agenda at that time.

I have a clear email string that I will personally use if anything she has stipulated doesn’t actually happen.

It’s about holding governments in power to fulfil their commitments and I shared it here so you can all do it, rather than a simple 1 foot cat like me.

Totally agree Badland.

I consider myself to be very central in my approach to police but moreover, I’m a realist.

I understand we live in a capitalist society and so rather than shout abuse from the sidelines, I think it’s best to be the best we can be within that current agenda.

And we’re simply not at this moment in time.

We’re a mere shadow of what we were due to being so bloody apologising for what we once were.

If Labour wish to offer a communist agenda, then do it with force and authority.

Well, I thought the conservatives would be in power to be honest so the SMRs were a given. Then I decided to ask my Labour candidate and as you are all aware, she clearly stated SMRs would be a UK deal for UK jobs.

The wait is weighing heavily on RR SMRs balance sheet, as we can all see via the government website (look up RR SMR LTD).

Labour aren’t a business oriented government. They have nobody on any position able to do the job they are in. Labour are all about ticking boxes for diversity and chasing past debt on historic fundamentals they can see (rather than doing any work). Hence the amount of fines gone out to single mothers who may have over claimed child tax credits in their moment in need.

We have a soft government in power right now, that is an absolute embarrassment to every decent business leader out there.

With the uncertainty under Labour, I’m not surprised we have next to zero movement Badland.

Reeves has done exactly what she accused Truss of doing and that is putting uncertainty into a stable market. Markets, as you well know, thrive on certainty (or as close as possible) so the UK is now hovering, yet again, in anticipation of outside influences (Trump tariffs etc).

Absolutely shameful we can’t organise a driven government who aren’t waiting for outside influence to suggest what we do next.

We need a business leader in power to dictate rather than follow.
