I quite agree Svend, my captain.

Misses Nettles and I have a Monday date day - today we acknowledged we're semi retired to be honest (I'm just 50, she's 45) - rather old for cats but I think we'll get to the 90 zone.

The question we had for each other was "when do we both fully retire?" and as soon as we asked it, we both knew the answer.

I'm a rather talented artist cat that can work from the top of K2 if it had an internet connection, and Misses Nettles is an awesome medical cat who's qualified in midwifery, all nursing standards you can imagine, and now resides happily in private health plus multiple report writing....

I guess what I'm trying to say to say is that we won't ever retire, regardless of income. We enjoy what we do, and we enjoy the time we have together far outside of the horrible 9-5 and as long as our clients don't ask how old we are, we're golden! 😂

My pension will pay 25% in 5 years, which will be a nice bonus, and as you say, the RR divs will pay nicely thereafter, but I'm able to continue my work all the way through to I die and it's something I chose to do. Who wouldn't want to draw for a living?

Today was a good day. Looking at Misses Nettles in the eyes and realising why I'm with her far out ways the immaturity of a fast buck. I've seen many of my so called friends fall by the wayside trying to achieve that golden dollar whist they sacrifice the life they should be living.

Give me a scratch post and a couple of giggles - I'm the happiest cat ever - as long as I have my family.

Many long term holders here (LTH) has this at sub £1 and managed to get the Rights Issue (RI) at 34p.

We held, we fought, we joked, we bantered all along the way to where we are now - £6+ soon to be £7.

I think with all the terrible posts as of late, when RR is venturing into it's £7 territory, it might be a good idea to put an end to the vitriol and simply state our member sizes. It's obvious that is all that has been going on here for the last few boring days.

I'll start:

I'm Nettles, and my member is 1 inch. (because I'm a very well endowed cat).

I'm yet to expand on my reasons for investment in certain AIM stocks but I will do so by the end of the month.

Simply put, the economical situation the UK find themselves in is one of "rape and pillage" (if I'm allowed to use your pirate talk). The increase in hostile takeovers this year will be paramount to anything we've seen before, and whilst the FTSE stocks have decrees of insurance against such takeovers, the AIM stocks are full of carpet baggers wanting a quick fix, and so the minority board will be left with a minority vote against those on board waiting to get off quick.

Quite similar to your analogy of a pirate ship actually Svend.

Question needs to be asked, in such circumstance; is it the crew or the Captain who suggest the path of the ship?

I’ve two stocks far out weighting RR right now and two more that will serve my pension well.

… and for the doubters saying I’m not investing in my beliefs, I’ve just transitioned my SJP pension into exactly what I feel the next ten years will be.

... apologies, that was not a lot of information form the FTSE to the AIM.

Ok, my thoughts (as anyone with common sense) was to say the FTSE stocks due to Covid and the recovery stocks were those who had potential to ride the issue. The UK government has a golden share in RR and so it can never go bust (in my humble opinion). TUI, IAG, RR and various other stocks had the potential to buy in cheap via covid but only RR had the golden share.

My thoughts of £7 come Feb (now) was a simple algorithm to acknowledge a company that couldn't fail (golden share), coupled with how it would be outside of Covid (potential divs, a massive increase in ratings and maybe a buyback thereafter).

It's happened, and that's awesome, but I'm no Mystic Meg -it was obvious.

And so there are shares I'm invested in now who have the same potential (maybe not the golden share support) but are equally being held back economically and SP wise due to external factors that will soon disappear.

I guess that's the fun factor in all of this?

All those willing to berate me over the years (snake oil salesman etc) didn't do what I did (and many here) and get a 92p average. That's why their take on things isn't important. As you have seen, I offer a face to face 'chat' if they feel they know better than me, but alas, it never happens. You and I are happy with our holdings my friend, and that is really all that matters.

Personally, I'm getting a little fed up with RR as it's reached my goal, so I'm now looking at the next LTH (long term holding) and I consider that to be AIM stocks from reasons I will suggest my next blog.

.. but as we talk about the £7 come Feb, you're missing out on those that have the same scope in a few years.

Covid was terrible, but awesome for investors. We now have instigation of AIM stocks that will gain massively in the next few years. I won't name them as I get accused of being something I am not.

Alas, RR will get too £11 in then next few years but there are certain AIM stocks that will do a tremendous amount of gain based on the same issues RR had through Covid.

Double, triple, quadruple increases if you care to invest.

And I'm not saying anything here that common sense doesn't suggest but let's get this right (within the facts now for tariffs)

Those left in the race for SMR are:

GE Hitachi - US based

Holtec Britain - US founded (love to say they are global, but essentially New Jersey US

Rolls-Royce SMR - UK based

Westinghouse - US based

I acknowledge that the basing of these companies does not represent ownership (those share holders within each company) however I will sensibly but forward the dichotomy of the UK government if they don't give the sole SMR contact to RR SMR Ltd:

Put simply, IF the UK government do not fund RR SMR LTD 100% in contracts for the building of SMR energy for the UK then they have failed on their commitment to UK jobs.

IF the UK government fund anything other than RR SMR LTD 100% in contracts for the building of SMR energy for the UK then we know that a deal has been struck (one we'll never know about) between the UK and the US for future SMR energy requirements.

It really is that simple. There should be no need, requirement or indeed desire to purchase SMR tech from any other country (only US available as an alternative now) but the UK based on the four remaining candidates. And the only UK holding company is RR SMR Ltd.

If this goes elsewhere - I'm buying a microwave and disappearing to Fuengirola.

It looks like a £7 finish for Feb Svend but not the reasons I wanted it to be back when I predicted it in 2020.

I honestly thought we'd by post covid, back to a reasonable share pricing and awards to the SMR and narrow body enterprise.

Alas, the reason we are nearing that £7 figure is nothing short of capitalist global levelling instigated by the US

Not sure if anyone read my blog a few weeks ago talking about the prospect of expected tariffs? Well, to be honest, it didn't take a cat surgeon to predict such impulsive insolence did it? It was bound to happen. From the idea of reshaping Ukraine to a pre 2018 status to the thought of disregarding USAID (although he did think 'GAZA' was making bombs out of 50m aid of condoms. Zero condoms landed in "his" GAZA.... may the cats and dogs ate them all?)

But Trump continues with his idea of having a level paying field of trade. Adding a "VAT equivalent" to UK and EU exports to the US is beyond any sensible person's comprehension.

Trump has a rather silly agenda to make the US the super power it once was; claim Gaza and make it into a 5 star hotel resort, put tariffs on countries that are net up on trades with the US.

Really basic economics going on - and I'll suggest something even more fun. The response from those whom we consider to be in power will be the epitome of your governing 'enterprise'.

Trump is shouting tariffs off the cuff of people a building magnate who wants to expand his real estate. The response from our so called governments in the near future will tell you exactly how inadequate our governing powers are.
