Unfortunately (and I hate to say it!) I'm correct in my take on that. That's RR SMR LTD, not RR PLC. Profitability flowing through to RR PLC? Maybe 2035?

As any Ltd company works, it's all about maximising the profits to dilute into shareholder salaries, R&D and a myriad of other factors.

If RR PLC see any input from the off take from RR SMR LTD balance sheet prior to 2035 I'd be very surprised.

(I really hate to be that cat that 'told you so', but I did say this years ago).... RR SMR LTD will have no direct input to the SP of RR PLC other than ignorant

impetus of pensions and hedges 'thinking' it's all related (which it isn't).... it just secures their desire to hold insurance for investment.

Certainly not a time to be sad Dusty! Labour are promoting self help in terms of pensions (as there possibly won't be a state one when I enter my retirement age) but that's possibly a good thing?

The amount of guidance Labour are set to announce in terms of individuals taking care of themselves will surely see ISA allowance raise, long term pension allowance raise, just is they haven't the burden of the common state pension.

I personally feel we're in a good time here buddy.

..having called £7 come Feb 225 from Oct 2020 (37p), I feel righteous to say that RR is a good investment, but I fall foul of my decent investor friends here when I say £12 come Dec is top end (at that moment in time).

Forget the SP of any company and look where the MCap is within its closest rivals. Do you think RR is better than those above it? Go for it.

Do you think those below are better? Then question your investment.

Mate, there are many here far more wealthy than I (Berny to name one) but it's all relative buddy.

I might not have the capital some on here have, but that's OK - I want to know (like you) the best place to put it.

Even my SJP investment manager told me "What you called with Rolls Royce, I'm happy to see you go - you know your sh8t!". Hence the transition to SIPP.

That said it all for me... regardless of the amount you have, be in full control and do what your gut tells you along the way. Ignore everyone here (including me).

I will say that maxing the ISA and doing a SIPP (rather than a managed pension fund) is a no brainer - and from there, enjoy it mate!

Not sure of your age but I'm 50 so although I hoped to take 25% at 55, that goes up to 57 in April 2028 so that I'm unfortunately on the wrong side of that.

I personally max out my ISA £20k a year tax free, and now plow all I can into my SIPP share dealing wise so I can maybe get to a decent 25% come 2028.

I don't like to talk about actual amounts (money wise) but after 1m in pension (SIPP), there is no point holding anymore - it's taxed to the hilt. (1.2m if you take the tax free £25%)

NS&I Premium bonds, continued £20k in ISA every year and then just hide the rest under your bed!

If it helps, I had a pension with SJP that did rather well (I'd love to slag them off but the returns were actually very good - about 18% a year).

I then sued them for lack of input into my yearly (well, what was meant to be a yearly) analysis and I got £600.

I've then transposed everything to a Barclays SIPP and today (about 3 hours ago) I got the full fund into my Barclays Smart Investor - the SIPP is AJ bell but under Barcalys.

Now I petrified to be honest - far too much money there to simply offload to what I thought was correct (all my shares unto now have been ISA).

All depends on how many beers I consume tonight to warrant the £30k into KOD and set amounts for various others.

Go with your gut mate - nobody here knows better than you - we're all chancers with no more intellect on a share than you have.

Many here are EEE (which is nice), and proving worthy for quick fix. Essentially, we had COVID to drag stocks back, that has now finished.

No advice, but mining stocks have three years to prove their worth, and that's where my money is.

Absolutely no advice from me but saying £7 come 2025 back in 2020... For me that was a hefty life changing amount. I get emails daily suggesting they are thankful, which isn't correct as I offer no advice, but to hear people loving a different life now is rather awesome.

Personally, I'm 20k on KOD and maybe 10k on Wishbone. I have looked at RKH and I think I might do 5k sir, so I thank you for your input mate.
