It's not going to end well. UK government are insisting the shortfall in budget should be funded privately by EDF and EDF are suggesting the UK taxpayer needs to hinder some of the burden.

Quite agree Charley..... companies lining up to change credit rating for RR in the next few weeks and then that golden chalice when Fitch upgrade to investor value. Should be a very interesting March.

One point of reference I've been using for a while is:

RR currently #518 (ish).

Really basic economics but I simply look at the companies sitting around RR at any one particular moment in time. Then I look at each companies fundamentals and where possible, compare it to that of RR (some sectors are obviously better to do this with than others). If RR looks cheap, then it probably is.

Obviously, this method is down to how much investigation you wish to do at any one moment in time.

Yes, that's precisely what I did back in 2020 (have you not been paying attention?), and this is at least 70bln MCap company.

I've no doubt Cev has the amount of shares he/she has... as I don't doubt the amount of shares other people have that are often posted here (Porsche buying, Island buying, Moon buying, God buying).

To be fair, I'm not one of those ilk, although I do applaud them if what they say is true.

I prefer to be modest. £7 come Feb 2025. I said it in October 2020 and I've never wavered. You guys don't know if I've got 30 shares or if I'm the vast majority holder in RR right now , and I find that to be the fun part. It's all relative chaps - one man's Porsche is another villages food for the month.

Hence being the cat - I just want a scratching post. The majority of my earnings will be funnelled into making people smile.
