Absolutely hilarious - I ask a simple question of if Retirement is going to upgrade his 380p come August as it's been hit today and I get "Well, you're a cat and my todger is bigger than yours because £7 come Feb 2025 is silly!".

Glad I stepped away from business meetings all those years ago.... simple questions get moved into ulterior motives that then get moved into bigger questions.

Which is great for the balance sheet, but more importantly, it gets RR to investment grade.

I get that 100% RonR but let's flip this a little.

You're an international company bidding for the UK SMR contract (it has always been a valid tender) and you see RR get it straight off - the litigation would be ridiculous. Therefore, the UK Gov (although not my best of friends at the moment) offered funding for those proving stages where met, and as we know, other than RR, two others have received funding to explore further.

That shows diligence in abiding to that honest tender.

Now, if RR get 100% (as I am sure they are almost certain to achieve), it is done on merit alone and litigation is not a factor henceforth.

It's not as simple as saying "RR is a UK company with massive prospects for UK workers therefore let's give it all to RR in the first instance).

EDF with have nothing to moan about when they see the tender has gone to RR having followed due diligence of the very scrutinised tender in motion.

Just to clarify on the SMR announcement:

"6 companies selected to advance to next phase of Small Modular Reactor (SMR) competition for innovative nuclear technologies"

"Companies will be invited to bid for government contracts later this year with successful companies announced in Spring next year and contracts awarded in Summer:

So now it's March 4th (into Spring) and therefore announcements will be made from here on in.

I heard back in Sept last year that RR had 100% (don't ask me from where as I'll have to kill you, and being killed by a cat isn't nice..... it takes ages as they lick you along the way!).

Future Divs, buybacks and current workflow all factored in to current price at about 50% in my humble opinion (as was reported in the CMD and now full year results), but SMR contact isn't.

SMR contract, although given to RR SMR Ltd, will put RR PLC into investment grade and that uplift from £3.80 to £7.00 will be a blink of an eye. We all know that.

Watch Fitch react in the coming days....
