I could be wrong but I don't like there fundamentals. I remember selling Barclays for the same reason - too much holding them back.

The only share I've ever regretted selling is M&S - that was a BIG mistake.

But my goal is Feb 2025 so if you're looking after that, yes, IAG will of course come good - just not for me in the mid term.

Most importantly chaps, and this is key..... RR is a BB rating with fitch, and most of you know (I'm trying hard not to be condescending), and as you all know, this is one step below investment grade.

It's going to happen come the 22nd. Fitch will upgrade to BBB (investment grade) soon after the 22nd.

That will happen because of the forecast for Divs, let alone the increase in flying hours (I'm guessing a forecast of 100-110% pre covid).

We've been messing around with a stock based on no divs, considered junk stock (in ratings) and terrible flying hours.

I'll stop being 'self righteous' and allow you to make the decision on where this share is going in 2024.

I know Citi et al are all showing 470+ but Barclays looks to be a bit more.

Trying really hard to not sound 'self righteous' but sod it, I know what I know.

It's a good source Svend and they were right last time (well, correct in the positive but a little higher than the real upgrade).

I guess it's all down to when Barclays release it - do they do it before the 22nd and prove themselves correct, or do they do it after and follow the crowd?

From the cat alleys, like last time, I’m hearing another increase from Barclays prior to the 22nd.

Quite a big increase this time - and almost on par for my £7 goal come Feb 2025.

Now, like last time, the Barclays update was released a few weeks after I heard about it but hopefully we’ll hear it announced sooner this time.

I know many on here hate to hear the cat’s perspective but it was always going to be 318sp before the 22nd with a rise to of 18% to 375sp come 22nd.

Loads of haters. I get that, but I said it back on the last Nettles update and I stand by it.
