Spoiling your vote4 Jul 2024 09:02
As everyone is talking about politics today, I thought I'd share my two pennies.
I was going to vote Green as a protest vote, but I'm going to spoil my vote instead.
Spoil your voting paper is better than staying at home. Last election (2019) had a turn out of just 67%. That's 33% that either couldn't be bothered or didn't want to vote based on the crooks/self serving amoebas they thought they had to vote for.
So spoiling your vote, if you are in this category, is a good way to voice your opinion of being disengaged. And as spoilt votes are counted, I'd go as far as to suggest that a high amount of spoilt votes may, just may, give Labour something to thing about.
A growing disengaged audience usually make people work harder.
How you go about spoiling your vote is up to you of course. A little message, or something more extreme?
I'm going to do a little sketch of a cat being sick.
