Just amazes me to this day that we still have people chipping in, knowing everything, when they know jack.

I called this a £7 share come Feb 8th 2025 for a reason (and yes, I did that in 2020).

Without wanting to sound like a petulant teenage cat, please learn you facts before you spout crap.

Just to be clear for anyone looking in....

RR PLC (you know, that safer we all hold here)

BNF Resources Limited

Constellation

Qatar Investment Authority

and

UKRI Innovate UK (Government owned so will likely become UK Energy under Labour).

Westinghouse supply fuel for RR SMR Ltd, nothing more, nothing less.

Absolute manure.

Now EDF are out the way, it goes back to 100% RR SMR LTD.

Sounds awesome, but as I’ve said many times before, the balance sheet of RR SMR LTD is dire, and so true cash value will only be there in many years to come.

That said, the impact from “RR” being in the headlines will allow hedges and pensions to get on board with no issue of issuance (“why the hell did you invest my unit trust into RR with no grounding”).

There are so many corporate investors waiting for:

1) Dividend to show their clients it’s a wise investment

And

2) A long term prospect of RR SMR LTD showing profits that will benefit the PLC we’re all invested in.

But hey, I’m a cat. Take from that what you will.

I’ve had a telegraph subscription for years but I ended it a few days into Labour taking over.

I was always told it was the “Torygraph” but I liked the articles (especially by Katie Morely) so I kept my subscription but alas, it’s resulted to a very negative, anti Labour with nothing to back it up.

I’m certainly not a Labour voter, but the dire news the Telegraph is currently floating on zero substance assures me my cancellation is correct.

That’s the bit you need to share with your local council. It’s clear as day that this ‘should’ be a 100% SMR project for RR SMR Ltd

Chaps, it’s very simple.

Whilst the majority of you were moaning, I decided to be proactive with this new Labour government and asked a direct question to my Labour candidate (that didn’t win my area - Neil O’Brien Tory’s won).

I’ll share her response in full now as you need to use this within your local council if any of this doesn’t happen:

First of all, thank you for taking the time to speak with me on the doorstep. I didn’t think it was rude at all - it’s all between you and the ballot box.

Second, I agree - getting Hinkley C up and running is vital. Labour has pledged to get it over the line as we need to seek clean energy alternatives and modernise - as well as end the reliance on dictators like Putin.

Although we have not named Rolls Royce as the main supplier of SMRs (as you’ve rightly said there are due diligence measures, so it would be wrong to name any companies), we will be using the nuclear energy program as a means of creating British jobs in the energy sector. It would go against the aims of our manifesto to begin outsourcing potential British jobs to other countries and giving away more energy security.

I have copied and pasted the relevant line for you just to add a little bit more clarity:

“New nuclear power stations, such as Sizewell C, and Small Modular Reactors, will play an important role in helping the UK achieve energy security and clean power while securing thousands of good, skilled jobs.”
