I totally agree with you George, don’t get me wrong. But at 49, I see no harm in giving enough back if it pays for things in the right way.
I’ve not heard anything from Labour yet that suggests a socialist agenda.
As a lifetime conservative voter, at my age, I feel righteous to get the whole economy moving, and if that means no more strikes and those who have money (let’s be clear, that’s you and I who have excess money to put into shares) then I’m absolutely fine with that idea.
I said from day one of my voting ability that I’d pay as much tax as ‘they’ see fit as long as it goes directly to those in dire need.
Unfortunately under the Tories, we haven’t seen that.
If I have to give up a few shares to allow this country to prosper then I’ve got both hands up dude.
When it comes to unwarranted benefits, i’m sure you and I will agree fully.
Maybe at 49, I want to see others prosper who haven’t the means to do so.
