I know that title is a little heady but the stuff we know about could get us to this number.
What I don’t understand is why mining majors don’t want Jlp. Apart from its own path, they could put the tailings tech straight into their mine process and have an immediate efficiency. I can’t understand why there hasn’t been an offer to date for this reason alone, let alone the esg, the political power that comes with a cleaning tech, and of course its own projects.
So that’s my prediction - £1bn+ takeover in 2021. Might see £1bn valuation anyhow - but don’t understand why no offers.

I hope they invest to get to 20mtpa. If we get there with zero debt the mining majors will always give on capacity before we do - we are v efficient and zero debt - I have been here 10 years and hope to still be holding in another 10, quietly reinvesting divis till i retire.

Can’t remember who posted the spreadsheet on the assets but just wanted to say thank you. Thanks to wexboy also - I took your holdings and updated. I have now simply loaded the coins into Blockfolio app and can quickly get a nav on phone. Such good value at present.

In reference to Peter s update. On one hand maybe just explaining II link but there is on the other the prospect that we are offering to a strategic partner - either a supplier, or a competitor. From the little exposure I have seen of Peter I would not be surprised if it is the latter. I also wonder if it will be revealed that it’s reciprocal and we have staked into their business.

Can say the same about holding gold mining stocks or any miner. Or investing in art or any assetr that relies on demand to fulfil the supply.
The BC is based on BTC having a worth - that is assumption 1 - if you dont beliueve that- its not the investment for you.
Part 2 of BC is like any miner - cost of mining v fluctuating price of asset mined.
In terms of increasing scarcity - even if that were true and it becomes uneconomic, the assets are depreciated or leased on ST timescale and reporesent the same capital risks as any capital intensive biusiness - airlines have much longer commitments to capital outlay and fuel costs (but we just thought the demand would continue).
All comes back to assumption 1 - is there demand for your mined commodity? Your call - most on this board have already made it based on research of trends in millenials and the market.

Really good discussion you sparked there Phoebus.
I am in BTC, ARB, Mode Satoshi pay and KR1 - those are my crpto plays and make up circa 20% of my PF at the moment due to ARB rise.
BTC - i see as a store of wealth - in the last 30 years all phyiscal assets gone digital and I do think this will challenge Gold as a result - especially as many use gold as a hedge electronically and dont hold it- only my opinion.
ARB - given above view of BTC this just seems a great business with fantastic management. I suspect Argo will not stay just a miner.
KR1 - I am really interested in DEFI and think there will be real mainstream challengers in this space to trad finance and payment services - didnt think ETH was good enough as a little slow - DOT better but I expect there will be many more. DEFI coins have a working purpose and much easier to grasp the buisness case as a result.
Finally Mode/ Satoshi - early visibility on challenging payment services - money transfers have pretty much cost the same since prior to the internet - time for change and these two are looking at this space.
I expect a very bumpy ride but in 10 years time I think KR1 and Argo names (or at least management) will be prominent and known wider than Crypto.

You are never balanced as an investor - you either took too much money out on a rise (if it then rises further) or didnt take enough) if it subsequently falls. I never feel happy on this but do set rules to take profits having gone up and down before and ended with less than zero.
Agree the Argo story will be more than mining - management seem too good to only choose one horse.
Finally when reviewing shares I always think - if i had an unsurance that allowed me to get out of 1 trade a year - would this one be it? For ARB no way would i cash it in. (in the full disclosure spirit I allowed myself to get spiked on ODX and hate it and myself for that stupid move made in haste ands would use my insurance there - the BB is ghastly also).

I would hope that over and above the rules on disclosure, that the moment the Brazil results are ready to be released irrespective of timings for the SP, they publish. If not good, whatever, but if good and especially if it can speed up Covid recovery in the short term - this needs to be out. UK ITU's and NHS at breaking point and with new variants looming that may not be covered by all vaccines any improvement in recovery time treatment will save many lives (not just in Covid but also other areas). If we are sitting on a potential lifesaver I would support speed over all else including shareholder return (I suspect 98% of PI's - who are allowed to put society ahead of returns would agree).
I also agree there is more than Foralumab in play but I am hoping the covid Foralumab could aid more than just our returns in the short term. I am also cognicent that Oncology is just as vital to those in the Big C's path but I dont see medical oversight allowing much fasttrack on this much more complex side of the porftolio.

It would be a great welcome to the main exchange if news tomorrow am. I seem to recall that when they wanted to, TILS can produce a whole armada's worth of firepower for PR - I am really hopeful that the ships are out of harbour and taking position for the onslought of PR on good news.
I dont often watch the updates but will definitely be watching tomorrow if i can- if we have had the news, how animated will he be; if no news out - will he be able to sit quietly and contempatively by the fire or is he going to be hyper and end up setting fire to the house - lol.

Morning in regards to the article - I will leave the KR1 peeps to assess the content. I bought into KR1 not just because i think that DOT is going to be the ETH challenger, but moreso because I dont have the time and experience of the full crypto marketplace in order to know when my bullish DOT case stops being the case - its such a bubbling creative cauldron of a market. They will know and make the correct decisions accordingly imho. You might say why have a dog and bark yourself...

BMO3 - very good point - so a massive spike then to prise shares out of PI's tight grips? - i wish, but most likely bau till the trial results.

YTTM - I hope you are right and it would make sense that a deal audit is behind the patent cupboard tidy-up. Always want to make sure the seller owns the property and can shift it before getting your wallet out, and having clarified the position you would send the RNS.
It would also imply that a deal is tied down if we are going through this level of clarification - Thursday always been a Valirx favourite (personally I like Wednesdays, Fridays, Mondays and Tuesdays also)- lets hope so!

It wouldnt surprise me if there is a small flurry of activity and a small spike on TILS hitting main market - IMHO TILS is a great target growth company of a scale that will allow many II's to take a chunk - and why wouldnt you?
However, even though the grown up part of me tries to ignore it and is hopeful of the LT benefits of Foralumab, the kids side is super excited over the what if on results and proper PR relating to the Brazil covid trial - trying to keep a dampener on it - might be less effective than hoped for, might be missed by market, but then again I cant stop the excitement.
Someone posted on here that Accustem might be the liferaft for GC and gang on sale of TILS and that does make sense - Foralumab if it works is going to be massive and offers will start coming straight away if this trial lights us up. Very exciting even if I dont like to admit it.

Good day so far - my punt for KR1 was the Polkadot holdings but I am happy to trust their crypto knowledge - their track record is incredible.
