RE: Aquis v AIM26 Feb 2021 09:07
If there is to be a change of listing - I havent heard that there is but live in hope, given the explosion of size for KR1, my hope would be that the change of listing is straight to full LSE market and not going into AIM. IMHO the company has moved past the developmental need for AIM and it shows a much greater ambition more in keeping with the potential gains here to move straight to full market and end up dual listed on NASDAQ also.
I find the subject of valuing this share really interesting - I get the discount to NAV that was here when we joined, but what premium to NAV do you use to reflect i) the income from staking but much more fundamentally ii) the knowledge and contacts of the directors? For me that is worth a 2x NAV price at least - these guys can spot pre-release potential and have the reputation and contacts to put their money in what they want to.
Similarly when people talk of takeovers here - why? If i had the knowledge of our board, why would I want a boss?
I am only a few months in but envisage KR1 being a key stock for me for the rest of the roaring twenties and will try my hardest if ever asked to see current board keep the freedom to create value as they have to date.
