Seems somebody must be dumping shares big time as with a substantial amount of purchases showing the price is still heading down.
No shortage of buyers at this price though.

How come more than 1m sells over buys and they can hold the price down?

Let's see what the results are from the AGM, and whether they throw any more light on things over and above the RNS. Whatever happens, we are in for a long haul unless someone sees an opportunity too good to miss.

Does seem odd, but the MMs must have enough stock to sell at these prices. I guess it is a bit of a false market until a delist is agreed on Friday. Then we should see a better picture with all the dealings in one place, or is that the optimist in me?

If buys and sells were always equal then nothing will change; it is actually the value of trades that will ultimately balance. More buyer increases prices more selling decreases so the trend recently would suggest more selling pushing prices down - today the opposite.

It is not logic per se but economics which have their own underlying logic.

Better day - see whether the trend continues. Again it proves the theory that there are very few shares in free float or these movements would not be triggered on what after all are still modest volumes.

If that were the case then they can only do that for a short time as it would be impossible to swim against a tide of buying.

I think we are all a bit bemused. The share price has drifted down on small volumes. I'd be interested in how many shares have been bought and sold over the last two months which I would guess will show no logic.

The main players appear to be sitting tight on their holdings so I can only think that it is the froth blowing off without any positive news or any news for that matter.

Think you are right that SD further delay is priced in. It’s going to have a good $10m dent on this year’s revenue which is going to take time to recover.
No doubt that the share is attractively priced now, and that is why I am making modest top ups but it is going to take time to get back to previous levels.

It will also depend on what the MM have in their coffers so won't depend on a day or two but a concerted trend to shift their buffer.

Even at 50p people were musing that it was a potential bid target, so, yes at this price it is a screaming target. Depends what represents a good or fair price. In the meantime I am sitting tight even it takes another two years which at this rate it probably will.

Well Furey I guess SDX is seen more as a gas play than an oil share especially where the immediate future production is concentrated.
Whatever the cause I thought the 35p was the floor yet we are over 10% below that now. The only saving grace is that
i have added more to my holding via my wife’s ISA at these bargain prices.

As you say a lot of shares are locked in so someone wishing to buy 10% is surely going to push prices up. Sure they can buy gradually on dips but with an active buyer then sellers are going to want a full price; I know I certainly would.
Added to that we have seen what just hundreds of thousand sells over buys or visa vesa can do to the price; 10% is 20m shares which would not go unnoticed.

Aren't the big offshore fields providing more than enough for the liquification plant to run at capacity? This being the case then it is of no benefit to SDX unless more LNG plants are built.

AIM is a fickle place and I think it would take an exceptionally clever man to manipulate it. While it may be convenient to blame the vagaries of the stock market in small-cap shares on some conspiracy theory I find it to turn out to be something rather more straight-forward.

Buyers now exceeding sellers. So looks like quite a few bargain hunters out there picking up shares are at 10% discount to Friday's prices. But it's no surprise there was an initial sell-off, and we are likely to end the day in negative territory.

Not aware of any such rule on AIM. Offers will often reflect NAV which is generally not normally reflected in the share price.
