I've been invested here for some time now and other than being an AIM stock which to a large degree are driven by sentiment I can't explain its lowly rating.
Often the volatile shares on AIM are pure PI plays but in the case of SDX there are professionals involved as well, and most of those are holding tight. So if the brown stuff was about to hit the fan then I would expect these guys to run for the door.
Unless the accounts, the exploration licences and production figures are a complete fiction then the company will have a decent valuation in time - just do't ask me to put a date on that.

He does make a few fair points especially the delays which have been debilitating and eroded cash. His point about the board getting rid of PW as a reason is wide of the mark; the man was a con man and worse got caught out. I suspect if PW had not left the share price would be even worse now as he had lost everyone's confidence.
The point about delisting from TSX and effectively forcing some to sell is valid although I don't know what level of holding this was but must have had some, if temporary, impact. It certainly was not balanced out by the largest shareholders taking advantage to increase their stakes to 30% as so many speculated was the driver for de-listing from TSX.

I do hope not. Their timeline and plan seem to be robust so I would hope for gas flow a couple of weeks either side of the planned dates as long as there are no major problems.

He also said that SD would be online by Q4 2018 without mentioning that the processing facility was not in country or even tested for shipment. We now know that process takes a number of months alone so that lie was so blatant I am surprised it was not picked up sooner and rubbished.

It was mentioned in the annual results issued in March. SDX only has a 12.75% interest in it and not a lot appears to be happening so probably not hugely relevant.

Was it the pipe or the CPF that had a capacity of 150mmcf. I think one element would need expansion to go beyond 100mmcf but even at that level it would be a tremendous boost to overall income.

One other thing that struck me was the expected capex for South Disouq is shown at $17m in 2019 for SDX. With an expected $10 - 12m revenue when flowing that give approaching a $30m turnaround in cash flow which can do no harm at all.

I think you are right at $10 - $12m per year but I also believe I read somewhere that this will be boosted initially as there are capital allowances of some sort that can be claimed back against the capital expenditure. Maybe wrong but someone with a deeper knowledge of these things will no doubt enlighten us.

I like that they have updated the market so soon after the end of the half rather than waiting until the end of August for fully audited figures. Hopefully, once those are announced they will also be able to confirm the arrival on site of the CPF.

For once some good news that has moved the share price in the right direction.

I have certainly observed, and commented on before, that there is a regular pattern of £25k buys which certainly look like a stake building exercise. The crazy thing even with this happening the share price is declining, and having dropped below 20p I am not sure anyone can call the bottom.
I can only hope that the management and a decent new chief exec rebuild credibility and shareholder trust so we can move on from the PW era.

You are right SD alone is worth the current share price if not more; so it better materialise around the projected timescale. If that does not positively impact the share price then nothing will.
So I feel what I should do is not look at this for another three years and I will either be looking at a crock of gold or a leprechaun sticking two fingers up at me!

I would expect them in the same timescale as last year. I was only musing on what we actually know happened or more specifically what didn't.

I am bracing myself for some poor results from the first half of the year. Income flat or down with some wells out of production, no contribution from SD and the Peugeot factory only starting production in Morocco recently, and then only requiring a portion of the available production.
Still, on the positive side, we are not in the dire straits of Sound Energy (although that is still valued at twice our market cap for some reason) and thankfully as we are not drowning in debt, we have the prospect of increased production and hopefully a better team at the helm in the near future.
Of course at the current levels with low confidence and a lack of certainty on a number of fronts we remain a serious aquistion target.

Don't think it was cancelled as they normally show as negative values. The ones down the middle I suspect are inter-market maker trades.
The share price certainly suggests it was a sale.

At the same time our regular seems to be in the market again hoovering up £25k lumps of shares on a regular basis. Maybe they have just given their broker £1m and are gradually acquiring over 40 trading days - who knows?
What ever the case there has to be a deal of back door selling as buying has been reasonably consistent over the last few weeks albeit not at significant volumes.
