I am at little more sanguine about this as I take some comfort from the cruise liner parked up in Japan. Experts have commented that the quarantine regs were not good. Which could explain why a large minority have tested positive. The other side of the coin is the majority are clear in what was a micro environment.
It is also the case that many may get infected but I have not seen evidence that many exhibit serious symptoms or actually die as a result. As someone mentioned flu is a greater killer.
One last stat to consider is that in a country with a population of 1bn with everyone living 100 years you would still have a death rate of 2,739 per day of ‘natural causes’.
