This share has now become so static that one can almost predict the closing price within a few pence each day. It's the weirdest of shares and rather ironic that despite buying several tranches recently my average is still around current SP. So, despite being a holder for quite a few months, a complete newcomer could join the party at a 'reasonable' price. I am not alone in this position. Sadly frustration and boredom has set in resulting in some bad tempered posts. Time to switch off and make the occasional check I feel for the next few weeks as the SP looks set to be stuck in this straightjacket. Hopefully there will be something to cheer about by end April but perhaps not meeting some folks' wild expectations. We sorely need a forward plan from the company and I hope this veil of silence ends. I suspect the next AGM could prove quite lively as there is a limit to what shareholders will put up with and if the company has any common sense, they will listen.

Ad4you : Having said that, next month, I fully expect to be able to afford my own box at Premier games :)

Ad4you: Not really but in those days of yore these guys epitomised the game of football and prima Donna's were few and far between. How times have changed and not all for the better. I could afford games, travel and refreshments with the lads in those halcyon days.

Ventura1 : I wonder if heading contributed to his brain tumour. His partnership with Greavsie was possibly one of the best ever in English football. I used to follow him in his early Dundee days.

It is encouraging to note that new vaccines no longer appear to affect the SP - remember the disastrous effect they used to have! Clearly a good indication how far NCYT have advanced.

Off subject I know but SNG (my other high hope share) has a new company secretary - Simon William Holden who has M & A legal experience. Our recent legal appointment from Thermo F whose name escapes me has considerable legal experience but would he have any M & A background as I suggest we are likely to be on the acquisition trail soon.

This forum has been on the quiet side recently. Some are clearly very disgruntled at the absence of news but most I guess are patiently hanging on for end of month results. Many will be nervous having invested way over what is deemed sensible (like me - bought my final tranche this morning). However, despite all the stats etc bandied around the most comforting factor in all this for me, anyway, is still GM's purchase of 60875 shares @ £8.17 last November and as far as I know he has not sold any - yet. I suspect this quiet spell will linger on until end of April after which postings will reach record numbers for sure! GLA

Johnny19 - 'The date should really be listed on the website financial calendar under 'Upcoming Events'. NCYT make heavy weather of even major calendar dates. Not very professional in my book and a discourtesy to shareholders!

... April is historically the strongest month of the year for stocks. According to the Stock Market Almanac, the FTSE All-Share index has fallen just nine times in the past 50 years. It has risen in each of the past three years and fallen just three times in the past 15 years. Losses for the years when it did fall were modest.

Spoke to a relation whose job used to touch on NHS contracts. He said new contractual negotiations tended generally to drag on and he was not surprised at the lack of NCYT news on this front considering all the innovations etc. Also, he expected the key negotiators involved now realise any deal was likely to come under close scrutiny owing to the stink about previous enormous sums spent - not always wisely. So we may have to wait a little longer yet chaps.

Airlineboy: The way things are shaping up for NCYT, I think Chief Brody of Jaws catchphrase fame - 'You're gonna need a bigger boat' might soon be replaced by Chief Airlineboy's catchphrase to erstwhile son Dylan - 'You're gonna need a bigger piggy bank'.

Might cash in a few NCYT shares soon and treat the family to a slap up meal in London followed by a showing of Pigmalion :)

troublesome - very true. As it coming up to a critical time, we must ensure we are not outflanked and slaughtered by these dastardly MMs. Now is not the time to be ham-fisted or pig headed in our actions.
