End June results could prove a major turning point especially with the likelihood of the DHSC dispute being settled not forgetting the raft of good news most likely to hit us by then and, as Van V ( I think) said, there may be some meaningful developments from the US by then also. The future is bright, the future is Novacyt!

One would like to think that Nova's dispute with the DHSC which by then must have been running for about 3 months would be resolved one way or another by end June results.

... continue this morning one wonders? Current SP still offers a good opening for newcomers. Had hoped for a RNS on the Indian 'variant' announced in last mega RNS unless NCYT revert to tweets again. Anyhow, not long to find out!

Thanks Ventura1. My Master Swimmer's badge from days of yore in scouting is coming in useful - swimming in the North Sea - keeping my head above water. Now we are in calmer waters I am swimming along at a far more leisurely pace :)

Agree Wilson63. I did not expect a RNS or Tweet (hope the former!) today as we knew the euphoria from Friday would carry over. Best to trickle out announcements gradually and if an Indian variant RNS shows tomorrow I expect the SP to go into overdrive! It's all looking good.

Kaeren. I agree which is why I am likely to hold until end June by which time I think we will have had a plethora of positive exciting news reflected in SP. I am glad I held my nerve as I was heavily under believe me. It's so good to see the buoyant SP and mood here now.

... will be when the SP reaches £7/8 . Many will have been overinvested and had a huge fright so may decide to sell all or part of their holding if they realise some sort of profit. I will wait until end of June, and if showing a half decent profit will sell half and return to a sensible level of holding. I expect I am not alone!

... but ref. 'the section of RNS which stated that 'Novacyt has been working with a partner to develop a professional and home use Covid-19 non-invasive test (nose swab) which will provide a result in 15 minutes.' ...... could we read anything a little special into Nova's choice of partner say in other areas to advance the company eg sales/distribution platform and speculating, who could prove the best fit? Digressing, I think this particular test would appeal to Joe Public in a big way particularly appealing being the non - invasive aspect.

Digressing, there is an interesting article in today's ST about an 'ailing Glaxo' due to spin off its £45billion consumer joint venture with Pfizer so they will not exactly be short of cash. NCYT's RNS will not have gone unnoticed and I do not think we can dismiss the possibility of a TO from one of the major pharmas who, considering the still undervalued SP, could make an offer GM and his shareholders might find difficult to refuse..

Will oddball broker ODDO come up with a more optimistic rerating soon or strike yet another pessimistic note? If the latter, I suggest GM gives them the order of the boot!

As has been touched on before, it would do no harm for more shareholders to thank NCYT for latest comprehensive RNS as GM has taken a pounding recently. Little things like this cannot but lift the guy and perhaps encourage him to even greater efforts.
