RE: predict SP on FDA approval?30 Oct 2020 22:31
How long do they need to get by every year.... £3-5million? They have nothing else in the pipeline to throw money at from what I can see.
If the mcap is £100 -£150 million, it’s not a lot of money to raise, unless they go for broke and try to raise a silly amount. If they did the huge raise prior to results then that would a sure sign that the trial is not going well. But what would be the point in doing that raise, the company would have come to the end of the road with this drug for lupus.
If anyone from Avion IMM reading this board..... sequence all the genomes of the patients from the previous trial if you can especially the strongly positives from European and US along with the equal number of placebo, and see if there are common markers and use that to screen patients for the next trial. It maybe that case that it works well in a particular subset.
For me, the success will depend on finding the right population set it works well for. From previous trial, they have a clue. I really hope they Expand on this and have genomic data scientists scouring through their own as well as publicly available SLE patient genome data to find associations.
