In their first report.... 8 out of the 94 caught Covid from vaccine group.

They said that we are waiting on 160 odd people to catch covid from the participants and then apply for EUA.

So assuming they have reached 160 people with covid..... to now have 95% efficacy, it implies that not a single additional person got covid in the vaccine group, so the same 8 people out of 160 now.... hmmm

if it wasn’t published in BMJ, it would have been elsewhere. You do realise who carried out the research?

Go back 10 years and look what happened at provexis... great product and looked like it was a sure thing, but utterly ruined opportunity by the BOD. The SP never recovered after the CEO sold shares and hasn't till this day. His name is Stephen Moon, he bought a company called Science in Sport (SiS) using provexis and promptly spun it out again from provexis and now runs that. There were many people back then making excuses for him.

Sell by the board is never a good sign.

It would be silly to start to manufacture for market without the conditional approval first.

Imagine they did get the conditional approval, would it be available for any SLE Patients if they wish to take it?

My gut feel is that Lupuzor will work for a large subset of people very well. Just a matter of making sure they constitute majority of the participants.

Point taken and Please start the conversation then. I am a relative newbie here but we are in a holding pattern with all eyes on FDA. In my very first posts I did say that the genetic profile of the participants is key. One group had success compared to other, they question is why and have they worked it out.

It’s AIM and it’s all about sentiment. Vaccines cut their markets, so that’s why the down day for all.

Like it or not, Covid treatment is a market. Longer there isn’t a therapeutic or vaccine, the more the opportunity to take a share of this market and higher the positive sentiment for SNG. Once vaccines start to land, the expectation is that the market will severely dwindle and irrespective of whether you have a great product or not, your Potential revenue stream has gone down with it.
The key is to get it out there first and grab a share of the market. We have over 12000 people in hospitals with Covid in UK and SNG have yet to apply to start P3. Hasn’t SNG realised that this was always a race with vaccines?
Eva is correct, with so much news on the horizon from different vaccines, the positive sentiment to drive the price is on the wane.

If after distribution vaccines prove to be less effective than advertised, then SNG is back in the game in a big way.

But now they need to get their ducks lined up and ready..... get the P3 started!!

That’s not a problem mate, a profit is a profit and it’s your style of investing. It’s better not to get spiked and get stuck and miss out on opportunities elsewhere or worse plough even more money just to bail yourself out of the position.

Take you pick from airline, cruise, transport, hospitality, events..... all have element of major risk attached, go with the one that have funding to survive well into 2022. I have listed a few in my list.

Big holding:

Barclays, rdsb, itv, national express, novavax

Smaller:

IMM, evgen

Looking at short term punt:

Asiamet, tower resources, tullow oil, oriole, iq-ai, rms, syme

@1509 What’s the cost for the masks and how much income is being projected. Can’t decide if this will be the ncyt of masks.

Markets have their own dynamic drivers.... and can stay irrational making little sense.

PHE report is published and peer reviewed. Can you say the same about RTC? The Ulster study is not yet peer reviewed.

The response from DHSC is that it’s not meant for widespread us but surveillance testing. It’s essentially the same..... word play going on. This is the same department that earlier bought dud tests from China and elsewhere.

The last point in the RTC response (7)- why haven’t RTC done the orthogonal testing themselves, no point suggesting others do it when it’s your product and you should be doing it to make it fool proof as possible.

Never believed in these tests. The only gold standard test is the PCR test. All these rapid tests are a disaster and will cause more problems with false results down the line.

That’s exactly what’s happened with ODX, when they tested it in real world conditions, the accuracy dropped from 99%(what company says) to 84%. The results are published in BMJ journal, which the government suppressed its release as it coincided with their mass testing announcement in October.... nothing surprises with this government.

Odx is done for. When they test it in larger numbers in real world settings, the accuracy will drop even further. Bit like when car manufacturers tell you the car will do 60 mpg, but when you drive it yourself and look at the dash board, it says 45 mpg.
