That Zeus report shows 2023 cash burn 0f circa £25m (£38m down to £15m) expect more dilution pretty soon. Maybe that is the reason for the delayed report. Those new facilities cost an arm and a leg with little meaningful revenue to compensate.

2022 saw the introduction of the UK EPL, which was subsequently increased and extended, taking our UK headline tax rate to 75 per cent until March 2028. The EPL has disproportionately impacted UK focused independent oil and gas companies. For Harbour, the largest oil and gas producer in the UK, it has all but extinguished our profit for the year, necessitated a review of our future activity and staffing levels in the country and reinforced our strategic goal to grow and diversify internationally.

I have now put my tin hat away. Perhaps on my first reading of the report (it was rather late in the day) I over reacted.

Whats not to like about these results, exceeding market expectations at nearly every level. Well over capitalised (as previously pointed out) would not be surprised if an approach was made to take this out, with Americans as favourites.

One of these is a prerequisite for ANGS shareholder. The after hours delivery of financial results and all that went with that appears rather devious. GL's dividend in 2023 expectations appear a long way off. The market will deliver it's verdict at 8am and it may not be pretty.

I don't think this has anything to do with AB. Top companies do not allow their top people to be "head hunted" by partners. For me this has been a "placing" by ABB, who perhaps do not have a lot of confidence in AB. After all many (me included) on this BB are not impressed by Bond. His expectations over the last two years have never been achieved. I look forward to reading his full year report tomorrow, my own opinion is that he will not be around for much longer, perhaps the penny has dropped at our major partners.

That article contains a "lot of common sense" sadly common sense does not win electoral votes taxing the industry wins votes and drives away investment. When the BBC directs its attention on the billions the oil majors earn in profits and then highlights the large increases in "dividends to shareholder" Joe Public interpret that as the "rich getting richer". It is never pointed out that the vast majority of those dividends support the "pensions industry" from which Joe Public will or does already benefit from.

I was once told it is a "privilege" to pay CGT but the advent of ISA's should make it a non-issue for most normal private clients. I have happily traded my LGEN and taken the dividends. Opportunities have been plentiful (in the 200-300p range)
over the last 3 years.

Lot talking of GROC as the crown jewels.
Do you all realise ALBA sold off 50% (well about 46%) of GROC for about £10m. They have almost spent that money chasing this Welsh gold, which no one has seen yet. GROC needed more money and ALBA failed to participate so their investment has reduced, furthermore the value of that investment has fallen over 50%. A further fund raise is on the cards to continue chasing the dream and funding George's lifestyle.

Almost 100k in the first hour, dare I say a leak.

From my point of view the picture has changed dramatically since the RNS of late November. At that time the share price was around 225p and it rose to the 250/270 range quickly. So my view was perhaps double + a bit might be achieved. Christmas came and went without news (as pointed out by DU) and the "certainly in Q1" rightly or wrongly was interpreted by me as meaning January as that comment implied very little remained for a deal to be completed. With no news in February the share price has drifted downward to now be below 160p. So my view now is that we may be lucky to regain the high of 2022 - circa 350ish management may claim that is delivering for shareholders, whilst in reality many (if not all) may consider they have been shafted.

James, this is not good, we have been told the time frame, one would expect a further update if there was any change. DU may have been correct in suggesting the news may come post the budget later this month, the declining share price is just hard to stomach as the trend continues.

The highest price paid reported yesterday and the volume was impressive too.

Excellent flow rate reported, just need that good RNS to consolidate the progress.
