When the 1200 hours has been missed data has been posted at 1400 hours, now thats been missed, who knows. Yesterday my new "hive" home heating controls didn't work. I followed all the steps recommended without any joy. Called the recommended phone No - to hear a 60 to 90 min wait. Then I noticed "visit our web site to see if we have an issue". The web site reported all was fine. My "hive" started to work around 9.30pm last night. This morning I read on Google the whole system was out all over the UK. We are slave to technology.

Well there isn't one yet for today. Maybe he is still working on the wording of how to explain how GL has pulled the wool over his eyes and all shareholders. Paying down debt from future production, perhaps, paying shareholders a dividend, well that looks like a pipe dream. Time will tell, one thing is for certain I will not be stumping up any more of my hard earned here. My expectations of recovering money I entrusted to Vonk are rapidly drifting away.

I have held LGEN since before COVID (original purchase 267p). When COVID hit they went below 150p, I plucked up the courage to buy more in the 180's giving an average of 228p. Your "boring" post inspired me to look back at my trading history. Since April 2020 I have traded my holding 20 times making at least 3p (after costs) on each occasions. Then each year I have collected circa 18p in dividends. The stock has volatility, so when/if my approach goes wrong I will not be locked out for long, and due to my low entry point risk is low. You say the stock is "boring" I say you "lack imagination". As a footnote, only yesterday, Seeking Alpha suggested a significant rise for the LGEN share price - good luck with your bonds.

Of the 15 analysts logged by Proactive as following Centrica, 13 are positive on the stock with either ‘buy’ or ‘outperform’ recommendations.

The consensus share price target is 128p, a 28.5% premium to the current share price.

Boring is good if you want a future. For excitement (usually followed by despair ) try a bookies, casino or as one has suggested crypto - and good luck.

It amazes me how companies do these buy backs. Several years ago I picked up some RTZ (now rio) at around £16 and I recall selling at £35 (should never have sold) at which point they started a huge buy back program. I hold Centrica, when COVID19 hit they fell to 28p, they are now doing buy backs on the 90's. We are predicted to do huge buy backs in the very near future and following years, why not just get on with it in the forties rather than the fifties or higher - or is that too hard.

The only issue with this being dragged on for several more months is "money". These guys have skin in the game, but also draw attractive salaries and currently there is no bottomless pit to continue in this fashion.
