In todays FT of yesterdays update from CNA. I expect analysts to have their blue pens out over the weekend. Let's see what price action there may be ahead of full results and divi announcement. Another issue is will the FTSE100 top 8000.

There just cannot be "big news" relating to y/e 31/10/22 - it would have already been delivered.
Any such news would be a post y/e event. How long does it take to write a report. Well if you are managing the business well, and you have your finger on the pulse - not long at all, unless you have nothing worthwhile to say. Then it becomes a problem when your the CEO, drawing a salary of £300k and expecting a large bonus delivering no shareholder value.

The market will wake up to todays trading statement in the weeks leading up results day, the final dividend may include a "special" to reward long suffering shareholders.

DU suggested a market overhang the other day, surely not to that degree.

We are now 10 weeks past the 31 October year end. We know there have been no meaningful sales/contracts in that financial year, so my issue is why the silence. This is being mismanaged, not managed.

How do you arrive at the daily therms figure of 66,415, could you show your calculation.
I recall getting a formula some time ago using the daily flow 0.1675 x 35.3147 x 10,872.50 = 64,313

There appears to be an obsession with OBC's. I prefer to trade the stock and have managed to do so on several occasions since COVID began. The sum of the trading profits actually almost pays for the cruise.
