When the weak holders have been flushed out, the price rise will continue, assuming the buyer(s) still want more. And why wouldn't they?

Thankfully the AIM cowboy builders have been avoiding us so far. Probably because Scancell are a real company with actual IP assets and real prospects. Long may it last.

Joang1, the obligation is on the purchaser or seller to notify Scancell if they cross a threshold - this is normally 3% of shares in issue, and then again for each 1% boundary crossed (up or down).

Scancell have an obligation to pass this information on to the market in a timely manner.

Now 3 lots of 250K at full ask, one was reported immediately, 2 were delayed. Curiouser and curiouser.

These shares have to come from somewhere and nobody is selling? Are the MMs short, or do they have someone who they know will release some?

Can currently sell, on auto:

250K for 18.625p

300K for 18.483p

400K for 18.2p

I guess they will raise the bid soon enough if the 'false advertised bid' tactic fails to release any shares.

Honestly, I think we'll be at 30p way before any official data.

Take a look at the other boards recent posts. Credit to inanaco and Marcus. I haven't found the chat myself as I feel a bit of a fraud looking at the Macmillan forums, so could be nonsense, but the posters not known for this sort of behaviour.

I am 'invested' here and can't claim any higher motive, but it is heartwarming to see the positive impact on people's lives. I lost a friend to cancer (lung cancer) last month after a 2 year battle, and the Macmillan story has lifted my spirits.

I get the point the interest in cancer vaccines, whatever the underlying technology, is good for the emerging cancer vaccine industry. Incoming tide rises all boats and all that.

But surely biotech analysts are informed enough to know the difference between mRNA and DNA based vaccines, and if f an mRNA based approach is shown to be sub-optimal, it might actually increase interest in a DNA as an alternative.

Is this a tree shake? Doesn't seem to have stopped the buying, and not encouraged any selling so far.
