Even if no actual news, the wording and tone of the directors statements should give lots of clues.

A bit of pure speculation for a Sunday afternoon as to what has been going on behind the scenes.

Not to be taken seriously!

- Ongoing scib1 / iscib1+ results are equal to or better than the 85% ORR.

- This has been shared with potential partners / investors. Not convinced this is legal, but probably OK under a NDA and closed period for those who have the information, especially if they have only ‘hinted’. And it hasn't breached any RNS leaglaties such as target endpoints met.a

- As a result, lots of people want to get aboard the Scancell train.

- Decision to fast track Nasdaq listing and allow new investors and/or partners in asap - thus get the results done early. Possible share consolidation required as minimum Nasdaq sp on joining is $5.

- Obviously investment price can't be finalised until ORR information is official via RNS (pretty sure that would be illegal if price sensitive data has already been shared under an NDA), but will be substantially higher if results are good, so this to be agreed after data release - maybe share consolidation won't be necessary 😀

I think it is because there is an analyst briefing / q and a session after the results release that has started this nonsense.

It is pretty standard to do this after results, and something I believe new CFO has introduced to make the company more appealing to investors.

We should all apply some common sense and analysis and come to our own decisions, but I think dilutive fund raising is extremely unlikely at the moment. Partne

Ruck, there will be no placing pre-readout - all the indications are for stella results, so why on earth would you place at 15p now when you could place at £1 (or whatever it goes to) after trial readouts?

They don't need the money now, so lets apply some logic to the possibilities.

My thoughts are that the business-as-usual plan is a fund raise and Nasdaq listing to fund phase 3. This will be post scib1/iscib1+ readouts, and at a much higher sp.

The other (possibly preferred) option is for a partnership / partial buy out, but that will also have to wait until after readouts to get the best deal

I am convinced both Plan A and Plan B are pretty well advanced, but the final decision will, ultimately, depend on how much they are offered in partnership / buyout. 'They' being mainly Redmile / Vulpes.

They are trying all the tricks to get you to part with your shares.

We don't know that the buyer was singular.

We don't know that the buyer(s) have finished,

I suspect that all the “low hanging fruit” of available shares has dried up, and the buyer(s) are pausing, hoping for more PIs to get bored or spooked into selling.

There's a lot we don't know, but we what we do know about the science, the published results and the stuff we can infer is all very positive.

I would expect some kind of progress update late next week or the week after, once summer holidays are fully behind us.

This will give maximum impact.

Apologies for the bluntness, and I welcome you if you are genuine, but I am a little suspicious - if you worked for Scancell, it seems a little unprofessional to talk about it on a public BB.

I wonder, what if Scancell were to drop a news bombshell into the mix next week?
