Having been guilty of denigrating this Management team, for previous sins of being amply capable of building a companies market capital with no thought for the share price, it begins to look interesting and I have added a few to my portfolio. Lets hope the pain is over and things get better from here - I don't have ten years to wait as per FPM !!

As you get older, you need something to keep your mind active and this is big boys monopoly. Plaudits await as a modern day saviour to keep the lights burning in Aberdeenshire. 60p in November seems a long time ago.

on Renx myself , but OIG and NAS on a 24 & 30 % discount respectively, is tempting rather than chasing an individual share in this climate. Hold NAS myself to the tune of 2000 shares and Christopher Mills has steered a steady ship over they ears and the discount is overly large GLA.

Less of the angst guys - its bad enough with the rampers and AIM disease. We are all onboard to make money on whatever shares we choose and all have our own views that I personally like to read on here. Myself I have 500,000 i3e and am still underwater somewhat until we reach 17p, whereas my Bp shares bought at 195p not so long ago have balanced the books.
Happy to hold both myself although its been a bumpy ride with i3e - and did at times feel like crossing the road and knocking on their door on Westhill Campus at times. GLA and keep the viewpoints coming.

You are not on your own de risking slightly Dick, I felt a tad guilty myself, cashing in 10% of my holding in the 260's, so lets hope doing the exact opposite doesn't ring true this time - mind you the other 90% would reward me handsomely.

Lets not forget Mr & Mrs Hardy who apparently are a Midlands based couple running their own company, who have never reduced their holdings. With 28,602,036 shares its a tidy sum that they don't need and from a risk perspective, I sincerely hope this is just a smidgin of their wealth !!

Just had that conversation Upomega with ii. Apparently I can put the whole lot into Drawdown, take the 25% tax free and keep all my investments (IT's and SQZ) as they are fully invested. I am in the fortunate position not to have to take anything further from the Pension, so see no reason not to crystallise as ii have said I can still sell/buy much the same as uncrystallised. Newk, sasa - fully agree and concur with SQZ being a solid hold - I am still hugely invested here and looking forward to next year. GLA and enjoy

taking 70,000 shares off the table in the 260's. Purely as my Sipp is bouncing on the lifetime allowance and I am of an age that I can take it. De risking somewhat, but still have a large holding both in and outwith the Sipp.
Gas bubble burst somewhat now, although volatility abounds.
For all holders this year, 100p to 250p should make a very rosy xmas to all - keep the faith and enjoy the interlude.

Seems a long time ago, I bought in in the 35-38p range in May 2019. Banked some profits whilst trading the rascal and then added to holding in the 8-11p range and of course the 4p offer.
All in all I'm around 20k down, but happy to hold as we are a totally different animal nowadays, and 15p will balance the books !! Serica was my "herd" share so might not get another in this lifetime but you never know what santa will bring. GLA.

Nice see see two Investment Trusts with a small holdings of around 1.8 million & 2.2 million shares in Serica. We may be getting a following!!

Niche Product as a market leader which does appeal to myself - Nasdaq not helping at present as well as timeline lengthening but America is the nut to crack. OIG report out today that still has RENX as a top ten holding. Similarly NAS another Harwood Capital IT has a substantial holding. Have substantial funds in NAS, but am presently accumulating RENX at these depressed lows. DYOR but GLA.

Took a position myself this week, although three of my Investment Trusts have pretty substantial holdings in Benchmark (OIG,NAS,OIT), so won't go overboard. They do seem to be gathering momentum and like yourself - it appeals as a niche product. Pretty happy that Harwood Capital are supportive.

Their comes a moment when realisation dawns - usually with age or being burnt a few times chasps. Not here other than to sympathise with you all with regard to LBE. I did pop on a few times and flagged that this was a dubious investment for private investors, seeing as the management had multi million payouts from FPM and it was "playtime" for them . Bung in £10m, charge ridiculous wages to get you money back and award some serious options for doing nothing. They can sit at the charity bash at the Marcliffe, Aberdeen along with Tom Cross (another playtime candidate) and be outstanding fellows. Its a pity you didn't all sell up 12 months ago and purchase Serica Energy at under 100p - or even BP at 195p. Sometimes tortoises reach the winning post. All a learning curve and I have also had my hard lessons - Trap Oil, Antrim Energy, Bowleven to name a few. At some stage this lot will go for a capital raise - beware.

Understand your angst Dick, many of us LTH are a tad old in the tooth and been in Oilies a long time. I for one have been paid out handsomely by SQZ by way of capital appreciation. Dividends are icing on the cake. As I mentioned previously I had a similar holding in TRAP now JOG as I had in SQZ - one good, one not so good. Value traps abound, waiting on things to happen, PMG and JOG to name a couple and I feel for peops in LBE. Agree whole heartedly with noses in troughs, having worked in the Oil & Gas Industry for 40 years and hate the free options packages rewarded that are not at a premium to the current SP. After all a Director is just an Employee of a Public Limited Company - not an owner - thats the rub that will never change in our lifetime, stacked deck I am afraid. Meanwhile am I happy with holding SQZ and BP presently out of all the dizzy rascals - yep. GLA.

Nautical Petroleum - how could I ever forget - bought at 4/5p and sold at around 27p. CHAR I got burnt on as many did as well as TRAP!! My tortoise has surpassed all comers .

So NEO have bought all of JX Nippons UK North Sea Assets excluding the Andrew area - the plot thickens. Has BP bought - or are they going to let their little sidekick purchase their holding and JX Nippons. Roll on January.

Hopefully all you LTH bought loads more at 185-190p - or is it only me being greedy?? Yes please to a dividend or thinking out of the box, perhaps a deal with Parkmead where we are onboard with Skerryvore. Platypus has gone very quiet on whether PMG have operatorship - we have the cash - pure speculation of course but we are needing a new chairman soon.
