I’m content to hold and add…
Onsolidground…. Yes I remember you from Eco. I’m sure you still watch it- I’m still in quite heavy as I do believe the next 18 months will see some positive news- both in SA & Guyana.
I understand where you’re coming from regarding klso and the backers on board- but to realise a return they’ll either have to sell out of Thg at profit, having spent all the cash on the initial stake, or raise capital for the next opportunity…. I think the latter, not saying it’s a bad thing as eventually they should return cash to shareholders..in an ideal world..
Hopefully no one on here is dipping in and out of a share based on the opinions of unknown posters.... as usual dyor!
ihavenoclue...... nice to see the comp bot delete what it didn't like earlier today,,,,!
There’s a hell of a lot more long on Thg than short! Sure, Our brokers loan out our shares- but too many and it’ll squeeze….Shorts trying to pile out altogether squeezing and wheezing- a happy event imo. OCDO jumped £3 on a squeeze a while back..
I dont think we need anymore raising of interest rates for metro to bolster the bottom line, just let it slowly build- Its quite possible that if the boe raise rates again it will put too much pressure on borrowers resulting in loan defaults- and clearly no one wants that.
‘We needed to appeal to a wider audience, especially women. And so, the team was changed at the start of 2018. Enter Lucy.’
I know it international women’s day…. and I know I’m a dinosaur…. But did he really have to write ‘Enter Lucy’!
Stockbrokerbelt….. like most on here I like a side hustle separate to my lth on Thg- so the minor frustration comes from not quite catching the price swing. It’s not a financial issue as I use spare cash but it’s great when you can call the price..
my trade pot is at 22k shares and a 10p gain once a week would make me sleep like a baby…
60-70, 55-65, 65-75…. if only it was that simple
I'm a THG holder so keeping an eye on KLSO for obvious reasons, but haven't bought in. Since the THG ipo I wanted to buy in, and eventually started adding at around £1.90- all the way down to 48p- traded some ok and missed a few jumps- but kept my core holding of 100k shares av 90p and expect to ok mid term.
My point for writing this is because THG SP generally moves and is good for a side hussle- but KLSO is totally reliant on news provided by THG-so doesn't excite the odd trader.
Similarly- but not connected- to the THG & KLSO link Ive got a holding in ECO oil an expo company that is generally moving in the right direction, and I also have a holding in WTE who invest in various oil expo including ECO- but WTE does naff all for my portfolio!
The point I'm trying to get across is I'm happier investing in the action company as opposed to the investment company....
I'm just putting out my perspective- no reply necessary.. hopefully THG & KLSO boom.
I've had this on my watchlist for about a year- Ive been reading all the posts about 'undervalued- topped up- something brewing...etc etc' usual old rubbish that hits these boards..... A few must be surprised to read the company is running out of cash & won't hit sales forecast?..... As usual - dyor
Not many, if any! pi's can call the bottom or top- but I do like having a trading pot on some of my holdings as it becomes very frustrating seeing the potential profit wander back down, 10k shares trades a time here so its not big margins but enough to keep my heart rate bpm regular ...
I took a few off the table at 64p- is this still in a cycle of 55-65 or are we finally on the move back to ££s? My next target sell would be 75 but equally looking at the 55 area to buy back todays block.... I do still have some at £1.30+ and an overall avg at 95ish so Im here for a while in any case as Im ultimately aiming for £2 on the isa hold.
We know every drill is different, but Ive had shares in companies previously that spout how good the prospect is and how many majors and super majors visit the data room, only for the company to eventually state they think they can go it alone.... normally resulting in a dusty hole and no cash to continue. So I'm holding onto my shares in ECO on the basis a major comes on board... with deep pockets.
