O/t I've been in HOTC for years... 22 x EBITDA for MARS.... it was sitting around 40 x ebitda a couple of years ago... (before the divi dried up!)

The tie up with THG didnt really have time to get going unfortunatly.... maybe MARS will push that?

Regarding Advent calendar-

I ordered 2 of the £99 last month and got those, I also ordered 3 of the Rituals House last week on offer at £65, (its now gone back up to £70) but 2 weeks previously it was list at £87.... I also ordered the espa calender it £113- a great deal

As you can see the women in my family will all get calendars again!

I use cashback also as you get another 9-10% back via LOOkfantastic....

But away from THG I also bought 2 from Youbeuty- listed at £85 but use the code YOM and you save £10.....

THG now around78p and my avg sits at £1.30.... so roll on 2024!

Stupmy…. I can recall the days of buying an airline ticket that included your baggage and your allocated seat. I can also recall the Ryanair flights for 1p including all taxes…. I used to fly stansted-prestwick & Germany weekly and buy a block of tickets for 10p!

Nowadays all airlines have jumped on the ‘low’ ticket price and then give a list for extras- even BA offer £600 return to Barbados but that figure almost doubles when you add a few bags and comfy seat.

However I like this pricing concept and unlike our King I don’t have the luxury of my own jet and entourage to carry my wife’s finery and jewels….

This has bobbled around £5 for the first half of 2023, even 2 weeks ago it touched £4.50.

I’ve read the report this morning- there is nothing that gives me the jitters- it’s just a matter of time..

So many companies dip on good results and some go up on bad results?!?!…. As pi’s we just tag along.

I only bought back in a month ago, after an absence of a year or so. Expect good results next week, the SP has been played a bit the last week or so and if you had time a good 10% could have been grabbed on the swings a few times.

I expect £5-6 will be with us soon enough as the cash continues to roll in.

New fleet to come will outshine Ryanair.

Disgruntled passenger stories are part of the industry but the bums on seat spend increases yoy so good times for shareholders….

Thank goodness none of it is on margin so it’s a waiting game.

I’ve written off this year on my ftse/aim/main market shares….. property saves the day again!

Ive always held these in an ISA and added on evey divi pay out.. next payment is this week and then i'll forget about them until March... Fingers crossed on the big one from Madagascar!

Redwineday...... agreed. The Sp is woeful. Just when I think Im topping at the near bottom- its drops again. I recall Gil saying the drop to 17p was overdone...... and now we are touching historic lows! I'll remain invested but its beginnig to hurt!

Well thats not probably in his manifesto! It seemed a bit of a lifeline having the sale and leaseback, but the market hasn't reacted adversly to the news this afternoon... so lets see what transpires in the coming weeks.

Oh jeez...I just double checked, my average isnt 6p its 140,000 @ 10.40p!.. I'm in for a long long ride with this one..... and I want to get off- its not fun!

Hopefully we are in for a run of news because my previous post on here prior to today was in February and we were at 2.55p then.....

Unbelievable that I’m in both WTE & KAV…. To be honest I’d given up on both!
