RE: Most investors apply changing logic to suit the results...6 Jun 2025 11:36
The share price drop over an extended period isn't by any means restricted to, or reliant on, the outcome in respect of the US licence. Many investors have had their patience tested by poor results, with various excuses , and fairly abysmal communication from the company (especially in relation to StoneX) over an extended period; it's hardly surprising that some have decided to call time on continued holding when their capital could be better deployed elsewhere. However, with results coming up in August and with cost reduction steps taken, I happen to think now isn't the time to sell. I certainly don't think long term holders will see a positive return on their holdings any time some, but I can see that there could be some significant reduction in their losses if they continue to hold. For the brave, acquiring more stock, to reduce their overall average cost, makes sense at current levels, as there could easily be some rapid appreciation over the next 2 to 6 months. Just don't bet your house!
